I'll have some trial and error pic's coming up in a week or so , vegging up a TREE of Fire now , I haven't had good luck with her in the past in tree form , running 2 plants under 1k .. but hopefully I can get her dialed in this round

any one have any luck with big plants of the fire cut ? she grows sO well with more like 6plants under a light .. but plant count dictates I can only run 2 per

Nice frosty girls jb...

I'm an old school kush lover/smoker introduced to the Ogkush in about 95-96.... been on the boards since (OG'sIovergrow) inception in late 90's --- being an East Coaster/ NYC area dude I had access to the best "elites" and also "hoarded" or "conditional" strains back when... I know this is strictly an OGkush thread so I'll keep it short, but on the inception of the OGkush that came to the east coast back then about 96 or so strains around then some strains frequenting the elite circle were: hp#1 aka the tuna, another amazing strain was the hp13 -- this stuff grown had to be taken down by some friends back then for penetrating brick walls lol! ... the golden aka the golden goat, amazing hazey stank strain that was just the right amount of funk and haze/incense earthiness... other tightly held strains were around then such as the trinity, the piff aka purple haze aka uptown haze... as well as the infamous ECSD or east coast sour diesel... other real heavy hitters came around then too, the chemo.. and also the original chemdawg or know here as just the chem... same dudes used to have the nl5 x haze or the cough -- from early 90s sensi seeds and a few other really special strains for back then.. the Mass Super Skunk and Silver Haze... all really special and grown to absolute organic soil perfection....

a little background before the real OGK came here --- fast forward to around 97-98 a buddy went to the valley area and had bought quite a few zips and found some beans surpisingly.. his boy he met out there was a very reliable source of third generation growing out there... the bean that was most viable was sent out here and popped with about a few other great beans in 99 to see what was best. turned out to be the best of the best of all the things around.. nothing had that pinesol madness, like taking a shot of pinesol to the face, and lingered on the palate for a good 15-20 minutes... we had the sick haze, the sick exotics from yesteryear.. but this ogkush was something else... wow... a shame but she was lost after a few unfortunate events...

2003-04 --- orgnkid ogkush beans hits the board scene, the first dude that had the real deal OGKush i ever saw... he wasn't the easiest person to deal with for some people but we were cool and did trade some beans and nugs way back -- he sent those beans, and also later on later on sent bubbakush s1s which is totally another story(found the infamous mint bubbakush from them, IMHO the best strain ever) -- these beans were the first of its kind and turned out very similar to the OGK that was around from almost 10 years back...

since then had cuts of swerves and others CW, IC and THCB of the tahoe, sfv, larry, abusive and ghost and lastly the fire ogk.. these other "newer" or conditional strains never tried but can only comment on the ones that were the best.

Tahoe: pungent fuel, super lemon/funk chem ogkush smell --taste was spot on like it smelled, very impressive ogkush sample.

SFV : lemon pinesol... again, like taking a shot of pinesol and lingering for about 10+ minutes... stinks too, but more lemony but still verrry funky... best tasting ogkush, but again subjective to the grower.

Larry: a mix of the two mentioned above -- was told this was one of the originals and older cuts.. it had a real funk to her, as well as a great mix of the ogkush lemony pinesol and this funkiness to it that was very impressive... a great uplifting long lasting high.

Abusive: another real impressive looking strain.. unfortunately it didn't make it into my faves, because the smell and funky stank along with the bag appeal didn't carry over into the smoke, the power and lung expansion on this one was all there, the real deal ogk flave just didn't carry over.

Ghost: the first ogk ever that I got , was quite a good buddy of the strain it was named after on CW and OG way back, ghost, what a cool dude... he purchased this one for a bunch of cash and it was a great representation of the original Ogkush -- it had all the goods although it didn't have a great yield and didnt carry over that amazing piney/fuel ogkush flave, it had a great high though....

fave was the tahoe ogkush as it was the best yielder and best potency --- the sfv was a close second, yield wasn't great but for stash it was such a winner, had my tell-tale ogkush pinesol flavor and kushy helmet phase where you feel like you are wearing a kush helmut or "kush suit" friends say lol!!! all in all the ogkush really has such special characteristics.... and super exotic :)

newer things that are happening -- Jimmynitz mucho props man! he has the original strains, no questions asked -- his motorbreath and valley dawg are the real deal... super impressive...

IMHO of all the ogkush around -- ive read most of what has been said, and not being a stranger to genetics and crossing many elites... the ogk in order to really improve the strain it needs to be f1'd or crossed with some solid , non-watered down genetics.. huge yielders without sacrificing any quality like williams wonder or strawberry cough... maybe even the original m39, there are many many other dads that could make this one great... along with the femmed versions of pisces genetics really impressive -- :))

Hey guys, need some quick advice. I've never ran a straight OG before and I have access to some Louie the 13th clones which I want to run. I have limited height (5' not counting my hood). Can I flower them out as babies in a sog style grow and be cool with the stretch? Or what would you OG experts suggest? Thanks in advance.

OC just realize the real OG stretches around 2-3x in 12/12... good way is to do sog, lst and also supercropping is a great method to get them to yield better -- never ran the louis xiii but if its real OG it will take around 10 weeks and need the full bondage that OG and other kushes need to yield... they also are on the fertilizer side mag/cal hogs.. so stock up on calmag and give them 2/1 ratio

EOS -- that OG is looking sick man!! the bty cut sounds sick --- wonder how it compares to the tahoe and others ...

justblazen -- that louie and all this talk about this cut is getting me in the mood to start another elite OGK search !!! really nice pics and props man!

Thanks bro. Yeah it's the real old school king Louie. Not a big name dropper but the source is a well known long time grower of rare og's around here. I was told the King Louie cut is more on the indica side, and while stretchy and lanky it is a bit sturdier with chunkier nugs. It has more real kush in it as it was back crossed to the original paki kush that's in og.

Thanks Eck... I'm always willing to try new og elites if u got'em.. Lol
It's been a long journey but, I could say I'm well suited with a few Ogeez in my stable thanks to good friends but I haven't had the pleasure if actually running the BTY OG, said to be good for its big yield amongst other traits..

I have a few things running right now should have some interesting variety coming, hope u stay to enjoy the show.. :cigar:

Btw, thanks for dropping the OHGEE history on us, much appreciated ..

Anyone going out to the maximum yield show in LONG BEACH, it's a definite must... Even if it's to get some free roots excel, shits expensive had to stock up .. Free gear is worth it..
