anyone who reads this, please please please dont find out the hard way like i did. i took my favorite cc gsc fem seeds and vegged them out. i took my favorite one and cloned the hell out of her. i was going to be running 16 plants in a 4k room. well a week into veg, they started showing more pistils. i thought nothing of it. as time went on, they were showing more and more to the point where i am 99.9 percent sure that they are autoflowering on me. This guy swerve is no good. we have all heard it before, but unfortunately i had never even heard of him until i ordered some seeds from attitude that were his gsc feminized. i have attached a pic. you guys be the judge. are they autoflowering.

Looks like re-vegging to me. Did you clone a flowering plant? Sometimes when we do that it takes a bit to get them back to normal. They may be a little confused; check for light leaks also...
Just my opinion from your pics. A whole plant shot might help too.

no i took these from a mother who was in veg for a long time. as soon as she started showing pistils, i went ahead and cloned her out so the clones did have female parts showing in the beginning, but no they have never been taken out of 24 hrs their whole lives. here are some full plant shots

by the way, i did top them several times and they sit under 4ft 8bulb florescents 24 hrs a day.

Betcha mom was rootbound, as that can cause flowering to start. That means, of course, that she had flowering hormones coursing through her when you took the cuts.

under stress cannabis will start flowering to make seeds as a defense mechanism

something you did prob stressed them, i usually see it on young plants that aren't getting very much light

You just posted that the mother plant was throwing pistils. That's called flowering in my world. Photoperiod is only part of the equation here. Either way, there are a couple of factors that can cause the hormonal change necessary to start a plant flowering.

The cuttings? I think you could get away with using an 18/6, m'self, but if you like a 24/0 photoperiod then I'm sure that will work just fine. The key(s) are no dark phase 12hrs or longer (although I've observed that a reduction in daylight photoperiod phase as little as 1hr is sufficient to cause flowering) and not to let anything get too rootbound. Also giving a few feeds high in nitrogen will help push them back into vegging, as does a couple of alfalfa teas IME.

If the mother, then I would pull her out of her pot and give the roots a good trim, about 1/3-1/2 of the total root zone. Just cut it with a knife, then replant her.

There don't need to be a ton, the plant only needs to have sexed (begun alternating nodes) and as far as its life as an annual is concerned, the clock is ticking. The trick is to keep them showing only the fewest or no pistils so that when you clone you don't have a reversion. That's what you're observing with the fewer lobes most likely, unless the seeds actually sprouted out and grew that way (something I've never observed but have read of).

but anyway, thanks for all the help guys and girls. your information has been much helpful and i will be sure to post the results of this grow. it should be very interesting. im going to give them a week to recover and put them in flower.

Good luck, Leon. I am sure you can get them really frosty, but in my experience, they will not yield too well. There will be a lot of wispy, sparse, but frosty buds and fan leaves. Would make some fine oil, but if you really want top-notch buds, you'll either have to give them a while to decide to completely revert to veg, or grab some cuts from a different mother. By "a while" to completely revert, I mean maybe weeks, a month. You might get lucky and get them to switch quick. I just want you to know what you're up against so you can make an informed decision as to maybe start some different cuts.

its hard to hear seeing as how i was planning on using the best clone as my next mother, but thanks. i will certainly take this into consideration and see what i can salvage.

so this guy SWERVE... is he with attitude? im new to this and gonna try to go through a bank. im from the states so im pretty nervous. not from cops just of sending off my money only to be burned. so this guy is no good? and what about attitude? also any recommendations on who is great with this then its encouraged and appreciated.
