I get my hortis from http://www.ehydroponics.com/eye-hortilux-1000-watt-super-hps.html?&cid=13............its prob best if your outside of cali kuz sakes tax always sux
Rip off?EYE Hortilux bulbs are the biggest rip off there is imo and unless you get their "daylight blue" their MH bulbs are flower bulbs not for veg..
I get Agrosun bulbs cheap but I buy cases at a time
greners has 1kw hortilux for 59.99$...just incase anyone wants to save. I've known to many Americans to use Hortilux...I"m an Ushio man...
Gotcha, I know EYE fixed the blowing lamps on digis a couple of years ago.Eye Hortilux 1000w Super HPS = 2100k, 145,000 lumens, not rated for digi's
Eye Hortilux 1000w standard MH = 4200k, 120,000 lumens, not rated for digi's
Eye Hortilux 1000w enhanced blue = 5500k, 80,000 lumens, not rated for digi's
Eye Hortilux 1000w E-Start MH = 4500k, 120,000 lumens, rated for digi's
Ultra Sun 1000w HPS = 2000k, 140,000 lumens, rated for digi's
Ultra Sun 1000w MH = 7500k, 100,000 lumens, rtaed for digi's
Ultra Sun 600w MH conversion = 6500k, 57,000 lumens, rated for digi's
Agro Sun super red HPS = 2000k, 146,000 lumens, rated for digi's
I pay more attention to the kelvin color and lumen output than anything else, price is secondary but since i only use Ultra Sun and Agro Sun it ends up being way cheaper than hortilux for a better suited bulb...2000k in flower and 7500k in veg is tits
I'm liking ultra sun bulbs more and moreI run Lumatek 1000w digi's and my 1000 MH Ultra Suns say "made in Germany" right on the glass tube itself...I blew up more Horti 600's than 1ks but I've blown them both up a few times
Brighter doesnt mean better! brighter means more lumens or lux. lumens aint shit, they are only primarily visible to the human eye. now wavelength and spectrum matter dramatically. Tried the Solis-Tek bulbs with GREAT SUCCESS! i read an article on a bong cleaner site, saw the companies instagram of their grows and decided to try their choice. technology changes, read up on it here 420kushclean.com/light-spectrum-cannabis/I have tried most lights (not all) and I stand by the Eye horti's. They are just so bright & very reliable.
