Every single plant is bar coded and detailed records kept by myself and entered in the states "traceability" system. Lots and lots of record keeping. We also write the strain and date potted on each white growbag or cup or whatever container is used.

I have no idea whatsoever how any of these plants will finish out. They are from seeds or clones I got from any source I could find. For all I know they are all Indiana Ditch Weed but I am pretty sure they aren't:-) It is the luck of the draw with these....all I can do is do the best with each plant and hope we get some awesome product. Of course if a strain is bunk or too difficult or I just hate it it will be gone. But right now we are poised to provide as many clones as we can possibly make to new licensees who are a little less inclined to be outside the law to secure them and having as many strains as we can seems the best marketing plan in this. I cannot however guarantee that any of it is what I was told expect perhaps the Eve but even that could have been something other when the first plants were obtained years ago. Since I am not the breeder of any of this who really knows? Really we are all at the mercy of whom we source our plants from as far as accuracy and reliability in strain identification. I got what I could and now I am going to roll with it:-)

You seem all set to really get production cranking. I respect all the hard work you all have put in to this. I know what that is like :). You will really want to pay attention to all those different strains, as they will have different nutrient requirements in order to reach their full potential. That's where a huge grow gets challenging. It can be difficult even when you already know the strains you're working with. Your organization seems to be phenomenal, and I'd like to commend you for it and let you know it will be your saving grace. Keep notes on each strain as much as you can; your brain will trick you when you're tired and still have 80 plants to hand-water.

Texas Kid shared this in the breeder's lab, and it's been extremely useful for keeping track of all the different cuts I've run over the years. https://www.thcfarmer.com/community/threads/my-cataloguing-system-by-dj-short-2004.75/
It is mostly for breeding purposes, but you can make necessary applications to a commercial grow :-)

Good luck!

...make up your own names lol...

$@^%$$#!!!!
Only if it's unknown bagseed, turkey! Haha, unless you're the Stanley brothers. Too much plagiarism going on unchecked in the cannabis world.

That seems to be the MO of a lot of young growers. I had a 21-yr old "grower" tell me he'd been breeding for 6 years, and presented me with "his work". It was a cut of White Bubba I had originally gotten from Winta and passed around the 719. I think he bought the WB at a shop, lol!!

If any of those clones came from local clone shops, I'd be iffy as the clone shops on the west side of the state dont have the best rep... A buddy had spent a few 100 on some GSC cuts and the next day the clone shop dumped the mother and once he grew out the clones, it was shit.... Heard alot of those stories so hopefully you have some "Verified" clones...

Good Luck

What's your pest management system for making sure all those sourced cuts are NOT carrying an std or two?

We have an infirmary where we hold anything new in quarantine for a min of 10 days...spray everything with azamax when it comes in, isopropyl alcohol 45% solution spray every 3 days and another good dousing with azamax before joining the general population. We also do maintenance spraying on everything regularly just in case. Don't want to let anything get away from us at this juncture. We try to keep everything clean....chlorine solution spray on everything except the plants, try to keep up with dying leaves, anything with the tiniest brown spot or yellowing on it.

No clones from any clone shops. Every single clone is from various medical grower's and I have connected with them all over the state to try to get a diverse strain collection.

Bar codes are required by the state. Regardless I am sort of anal about keeping records. Our own traceability tracking document is much more detailed than the states actually. I don't know if anyone is interested in it but I could forward it if so. I think this was our first draft and it has been altered a bit now with all our data in it but you get the idea. I want to know every little detail when I need it so we have to keep track:-)

Started prepping for our outdoor garden. My partner Hayden goes big:-) Trenches 3 foot wide and 4 feet deep. Having 3 dumptruck loads of compost coming in this week. I am pretty much freaking out!!! Indoor is fun but I am most excited by the outdoor growing possibilities. View attachment 400636

Me too Baba! Thanks for the concern auldone....we are as legal as this industry can get currently...one of the first 10 licensed recreational growers in WA state. We have our fingers crossed!

OK....this is our strain list. I still have 4 days to secure other strains...anything that I am blatantly missing?

I would suggest a golden goat or golden cheese. The goat has a very nice sativa high good for no appetite and a new favorite of mine is pine tar kush I think. it's got a nice punch that puts u out there nice couch lock good for insomnia.

Indeed Seamaiden....indeed:-) I cannot even begin to express how amazing it is to us to be able to do this...out in the open.....don't have to try to hide it.....it is just incredible really. So much work for 2 people though. Can't wait until I can afford to hire some helping gardeners that is for sure. I am pulling 12-14 hour shifts 7 days a week and my daughter is 6 days a week. Had a near tragedy last Tuesday night when the outdoor temps were about 39 over night and our humongous fan was on without the thermostat hooked up and just about froze all my plants. I was on the night shift but went to a meeting a few hours away. My daughter had left the fan off since I knew the weather forecast but one of my partners came in and turned it back on. When I got back at 3:00AM plants at the back of the room where the intake is were all droopy and looked like they were too dry but were in fact too wet and too cold. Lost about 14 of them which is not too big of a deal with our inventory and still have about 20 recovering in the infirmary but hurt my heart anyway. Getting attached to every single little girl in our space which is funny to my daughter. Everything is recovering though and the fans are safely run through a thermostat now so temps stay at a perfect level in each area. It was scary though because at first I did not know what on earth had happened. A combination of over watering because my partner could not find a hydrometer even though there were 4 on the table when you enter the main room so he over watered and then it got about 49 or 50 degrees in there and my babies did not like it one bit. Thank heavens the loss was not intolerable because it could have been disastrous. Have about 2000 plants in cultivation right now with 700 in cloners. Got another 13 strains from a breeder I met so our total now is at 82. Some we only have a couple of but we will use them as mothers to make many, many more. The roll out of the whole legal thing here keeps getting postponed by the LCB so hopefully we can bring in some cash selling clones at a reasonable price to other growers as they are licensed. So much to do and never enough time but it sure is fun:-) Thank all the heavens for my hot tub because some mornings I can hardly walk when I get out of bed and have to crawl into the hot tub after taking a couple of ibuprofens just to get moving above a snails pace. It is all worth it though to be in this place at this time. Still working with as many other prospective growers to help them get through this crazy process and I have given assistance to over 100 license applicants so my name and the W.O.W. Weed name is getting out there. Every meeting I go to people come up to me and say..."are you Susy....I have some questions!" My youngest daughter says I am going to be the grandmother of legal cannabis in WA state....I don't think I have a problem with that:-)

I don't think I have seen any of this strain anywhere locally. Not sure I have time to procure it since I have only 2 days left to do so but I will see if I can find any. Thanks for the suggestion:-)

Growing them all is not that hard....just paying attention to each strain and its particular needs as well as we can.

These type statements are what worry me when it comes to the final product being quality. Growing the plants from veg to day 1 of flower isn't the most difficult task in the growing world. BUT taking that many strains and that many plants through the flowering stage becomes much much more difficult a growing task. The 2 months after you flip to 12/12 will be the real gauntlet. I wish you luck.

Also I'd start to ask some people about HVAC. With spring summer temps ranging from the 80's - 100's you aren't going to be able to cool the room by just venting the air. I think u might even start to notice that this week with the temp boom we're gonna see. If not then I'm super surprised. Does the warehouse have a central air system or anything keeping the temps regulated?

The other thing I'd be worried about is pollen chuckers. There's been talk from other non-502 growers, that are completely against 502, about them saving up pollen and seeding warehouse crops.

Is the address of your place public record?

Yes...well everyone has their own ideas:-) I am following mine. I did get HVAC opinions, some from this very board. Consensus so far has been that my exhaust/intake should work, even in the heat of the summer we get here, recycling the whole rooms air in less than a minute. It remains to be seen how it will work in reality though and we will react to it as best we can. Please do not spend one second worrying about the outcome of the quality of our product. That is my job:-)

Pollen chuckers....now how exactly would you think I could possibly do anything about that? EVERY I502 business is public record. Not a damn thing I can do about that. Our indoor is protected by clean fan intake filters but outdoor is anybodies game. I can only focus on things I can control and no reason at all to spend any time on those that I cannot. If someone thinks it is to their advantage to do such a fucking stupid thing then there would be nothing at all I can do to stop them. A sickening indictment of any other growers intent and it is obvious why so many people outside the industry would have issues with marijuana growers if they would stoop to such a level to begin with:-((
