I am familiar with the werk shop. You will notice abamectin is not listed as a recovered pesticide? No, maybe your not comprehending. Sometimes boils down to being educated on all the solutions and the outcomes.
A certified advisor for example: gives options and the customer chooses what best fits there scenario. Most of the time potential harm to health and the earth is no longer a factor then.
IPM program takes work time and $$. vs spraying pesticides cost $$ but take less time usually.

Most "sellers" don't have to "sell" on the hush, as you put it. Seriously..... I think we found out most " sellers " use this shit & when the time comes chem's or chop it's more like chem's, keep flowering then sell on the hushhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh .... ;)
you are not adding anything to the conversation but your egotistical attitude. You realize this yet you post to hear yourself sound what you believe to be (insert adjective here...cool, neat, awesome, etc...)....good luck with that..... I think we found out most " sellers " use this shit & when the time comes chem's or chop it's more like chem's, keep flowering then sell on the hushhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ....

Avid is a mite pesticide developed for ornamentals and Christmas trees. It is systemic which means that it works by lingering around inside the plant for a long time. It may be very affective; however it is not developed for use with any food crops. Furthermore, Avid has been known to cause illness in medical marijuana patients. It is known to adversely affect animals and fish according to the Manufacturers Warning Label. This pesticide is very dangerous to work with and be exposed to. Due to the nature of this you are urged to not use this on your medicine. No amount of flushing will remove this substance.
According to the directions Avid has a 28 day residual, try to leave double that time for it to clear of the plant. Being systemic who know if it is ever gone....
How would they be Dx'd, exactly? First, the patient would have to have a clue that it's something to do with the cannabis they're consuming. There's also the issue of the given doctor--how diligent is s/he, do they have access to appropriate testing, etc? It's a tangled mess in this particular arena for many, many reasons, not the least of which is a complete and total lack of a paper trail, which is how taints are usually found. There *is* no paper trail, which is how it's done.
I wish I could be confident in California labs with regard to protocols, consistency of testing methods, etc. I'm not so sure about that, though, especially given what baba G has relayed about his experiences using Cali labs. Most "sellers" don't have to "sell" on the hush, as you put it. Seriously
Lab tests prove cleanliness....I am sure before the year is out guys who sprayed with avid will post up test results in this thread for all to see.
Maybe I will dedicate one plant to avid treatment and test it and post up the results. Some of you would not care or believe me anyway.
Sometimes egos need to be set aside during what is supposed to be a discussion.
And that's the key. There ARE no 'cides,' of any sort, approved for use on cannabis. Except paraquat. D'oh! :oState and federal laws dictate that pesticides should only be used on approved crops – which do not include pot
I agree but if you practice IPM in the first place then these issues shouldn't come up at all. No matter what your scale. Years ago I used to have all kinds of problems, now, pretty much never and my scale has increased many fold. With time has came education and good work ethics. Usually it is the lazy gardener with weak and unhealthy plants that will over spray things like avid when all of a sudden they notice shit is outta control. If I may? Me, personally, and by no means am I imposing, only sharing what I do and do not do, and criticism is welcome, I don't learn to live with or through infestations of powdery mildew, spider mites, aphids or any kind of Borg. I do destroy then throw away host plant if room is infested shut down room, if house is so on and so forth. Ounce of prevention equals a pound of cure....start all over with best of resources possible meaning safe beneficial medium, seeds and environment...
