I second the wish a lot would come back. When I was on here in 08 thru 2010 there were some really cool folks here who took off due to the "cooler than thou guys"...I took off too, but I have been back off and on since and plan to stay this time!

I agree about most responses, but for whatever reason cap would reply to my inquiry as to which of his products in particular I should get when I asked...so, that is what it is I guess.

One of the best features of Essentria IC3 is that it has no aquatic toxicity. This means you can apply near or over water for spiders, mosquitoes and other water dwelling pests with no worries about harming aquatic life
I know you like that Sea :)

But
Not labeled for use on edible plants. ?
I bet @Capulator can really discuss why it's not labeled for use on consumables, I betcha it's more of a cost thing to get it labeled for such. But to the best of my knowledge, and I did a little searching yesterday after it was posted, I can't find that those plant essential oils, including the geriantol (sp?) are in fact restricted. I know that I am able to use PEOs as I wish without reporting to the county what I use because they're simply not controlled. Or something like that.
got some spreader soap too :)

Uh... well crap. Let me know if the spreader soap works, otherwise you're going to have to concoct. I found soap was not the thing to use to achieve an emulsion.

I feel bad about being a hit-and-run poster here and on another site I use. My issue is with time. I wear a lot of hats and just don't get on the sites as often as I'd like or probably should. I am selfish and come on when I have a problem. :( In the winter is usually when I have more freedom to play. My heart is pure though, if that counts for anything. I love how people come together to help. This is a pretty cut-throat industry on the whole, currently dominated by, well, never mind. Suffice it to say it sometimes gets me down to see how people behave to one another. But there are pockets of good and that gives me hope. We all prosper when we share and help each other succeed. This plant is a real teacher about a lot of things in life. Some times we need to look a little closer for the lessons. :cat:

The real conversation will be the post-harvest review.
Trying to figure out what works is a tall order with so many inputs.
I am optimistic, but have never been this close to a Borg story.
The mites I deal with are wimps compared to Russets & Broads.
Keep posting, and keep notes for the review.
I feel like taking a shower every time I read this thread.

What kind of emulsifying agent do you recommend?

Edit to add; I have been using SM90..and Might just buy the coriander oil.
would that work?

I called Envincio, the manufacturer of Essentria IC3, after inquiring I was told that they would call me back with an answer as to why the product does not specify use on food crops. I also mentioned I read the MSDS in depth and could not find any reason why it wouldn't be. The person I spoke to could not see why using on food crops would not be ideal. I guess I'll find out.

Broads and russets have been destroying crop after crop in Cali. It seems I cannot identify problems for my friends fast enough. I have beat them both and hate to say it but avid was the only thing for me to use as a preventative and it's worked well. I have been lucky when my neighbors haven't been. These pests almost made me give up growing, so heartbreaking to see plants take turns for the worse. I must also say that caps foliar worked too as a continual method of prevention. I hope you the best @caregiverken and @SunGrown you guys are luckily early enough to win this battle!!!!

how odd the rounded leaves are...I have none of that going on at all. I don't think they ate them, I think the plants stress response made them grow that way...your thoughts? Do all of your plants have that rounded look on the leaves?

Honestly that plant looks a lot better being affected by bugs than some of the plants I see pics of that probably have no bugs...I bet some folks that don't have bugs hate guys that do when their bug infested plants still look better than theirs!

If you can make sense of that sentence!

My plants are absolutely my therapy...even if for some reason I decide not to use the ganja ever again one day, I will still grow most likely till I am dead.

Yeah some of the other plants new leaves are rounded
and Yes, I do think it could be the stress and not the actual mite chewing
i will see if I have more pics of the round leaves..

i was wrong..thats the only one that has rounded new leaves
a few others have new leaves that are a little torn up though

I just took this picture to show you guys what the mites did the this Sour Strawberry Kush
Ssk3mitedamge85

Those round leaves showed up after I topped it, before I knew I had russets.
I just took that leaf out of the middle to show what they did to it

She is doing well now though :)
