I really love the taste of Sour Strawberry and it's a nice plant to
Grow, Clone, Trim and Smoke.
I rate Sour Strawberry with my other 2 favorites,
Sour Grape and Sour Bubble,
All 3 of these taste great and make me feel good.
I'm sure you would love the Sour Strawberry too!!

Is it a safe assumption that the other seeds were males? Or did you find any females that just didn't show any traits that you thought were worth the time investment? Just curious. I know most people find a fairly equal ratio of male to female. At least that is what I have read on several Bog gear threads.

About half were males but I had a slightly higher ratio of females. All my seeds germinated and I culled one weird one.

We like all four and all four are somewhat different from the others. Three grew normally with good structure and they all yielded well at about 2.5 oz per plant in three gallon pots.

Number Four is the Hot Pants dwarf that only yielded one oz. Named her for being short and tight like hot pants. She has the tightest buds that are very frosty. Quite tasty with a slight strawberry tint in a mostly kush type. Relaxing and pain relieving body high, 9, and a great head high too, 9. Fast flowering...not great growth in veg. Last choice of the four for growers but not because of product quality. Eight weeks flowering but it looks done sooner. I plan to regrow it again just to see if I can get it to grow right this time. Taste rates a 9

Number One phenotype is called Fruity Pebbles and it is very aromatic in flower with a fruity berry smell similar but not the same as strawberry. It has the fattest buds of the four and it yielded as well as any...perhaps it could be the biggest yielder but it's branches aren't as strong as 2 or 3. Not quite as potent as number 4 or 2 but on par with 3. Takes more rme to cure but I rate potency as 7 and taste at 8. A nice plant with some Razz notes in it but not my first or second choice. A good commercial version due to smell and bag appeal. Still in testing. About the same time in flower for all four.

Number Three is Strawberry Creme and this is my second choice. Actually it could be a first choice because it's all
Strawberry smelling and tasting with a smooth smoke and a flavor much like Strawberry Taffy. It is delicious with very little funk right to the last toke. Much like the clone we crossed to Sour Bubble with just a touch more potency. Taste is 9 and Potency is 8. Another good yielding fast finishing bush. When cut I imagined a big bouquet of Strawberry flowers.

Sour Strawberry Kush Phenotype TWO! We have 2 winners though this may be the most desirable clone I have ever grown! I shit you not. She rivals my queen and I am very thankful to have another gift to share.

First let me say that my Sour Strawberry has a few problem children but I saw no male flowers ever on any of them. It is variable but you can't complain about variations like these.

Number 2 is exactly the phenotype I set out to create. It has an equal portion of Kush and Strawberry and it retains the powerful high of SB.

From the start this one grew taller even though cloned at the top like the others. She ignored it and grew another top cola unlike the others. As good yielding as Fruity Pebbles but OMG. Do you hear me? Come to Seattle and try this shit.

With excellent growth and branching I was hoping she would be the one. A true Strawberry Kush that nobody can deny. If you want something that can't be beat even by the best then find this one.

I don't lie and I don't need to make them sell faster. Get some. Oh yeah...potency of high in body is 8. Potency in head is 9. Taste is 9.9 so if I ever taste anything better that will get a ten but I doubt very much that anything could taste better.

It is a new world... :)

I feel like the luckiest dude in the world. Got 5 in veg soil and another 5 soaking. Just in case I don't get one of those phenos I still got another bag of those babies. Friggin great thread. If you wanted to get me excited and motivated it worked. Once these babies come to life I am gonna start a thread on quite a few of my different Bog strains!

If only I lived in a med state or country, I already would have grown a lot more beans collected through the last years including your Sour Strawberry... would find some extra... ordinary phenos with extra meds potential in my 3 packs !! :) got 6 more BOG's strains in my vault waiting for action... time will come ! ;)
I really hope that it may be sooner than later... the way it goes, it's clearly MMJ for victory in all states and countries of the planet, I mean as far as possible, then the full legalization could take place in several states and countries, while statistics show how it can be safe and secure, if conducted in the right direction.

Last year SSK was tested at 25.6 and another at 26.7% thc!

That 26.7 was on an outdoor grown SSK bud so it could go even higher done indoors.

I remember what Sen. Kerry said after the Viet Nam War ended. :(

He said "how do you ask the last man to go die in a war that is ending?"

He found it difficult but there are still haters out there who even hate potheads and growers still. Don't be the last man.

Continue to stay under the radar even if some of us don't. Some of us are dreamers and we often end up in prison.

It is worth it though. The world is changing for the better but haters will always hate.

Number two or three have cured to be very similar with lots of good strawberry smell and taste. Three of the four yielded well and all four are superior product.

If it smells like Strawberries...go for it! If you smell Sour Bubble...go for it!

My sour strawberry beans popped after 2days. Sour grapes haven't popped as quickly.
Gonna go ahead and get a few more strawberries in soil tonight. Hopefully, they will be ready to photograph next week. Hehe
