Some people remind me of chicken little saying the sky is falling when feminizing seed comes up. Reversing them with a silver compound does not in any way permanantly alter the makeup of the plant. It only inhibits auxin synthesis on the treated plant it will not affect the offspring's ability to develop normally.

So what you guys are saying is that although S1s may possibly be made of wood but are not always subject to floating, therefore there may not be any actual witches or witchcraft directly involved? Hmm. Ah, then I hypothesize that it must be witchery from afar. Some sort of bone pointing or ...

LMAO at numb skulls that claim reversal permanently induces or inceases the likelihood of herms. Its all about the way genes and chromosomes pair up.

If the genes for intersex traits already exist then sure S1 can be more likey to have intersex traits by increasing the frequency of herm related chromosomes in the possible offspring but this is also true of regular bred seed as well if the mother and father both carry herm genes. But if the parents of S1 or fems DON'T carry those genes then apart from stress or outside chemical inducement then the generational plants from these seeds won't be intersex.

Too much superstition and old hippies tales about fem seed and not enough real science (real science is more than using jargon to appear educated) being spread in the canna world. STS, colloidal silver and gibberellic acid change morphology not genealogy. The amazing thing about plants is that their cells carry the ability to become any part of the plant with the correct stimulus ala cloning where hormones, moisture and darkness result in root formation from a previously aerial part of the stem. Genes control the timing and amount of natural hormonal stimulus to determine whether a plant is "male" or "female" or intersex for that matter.

Inducement of male flowers on female plants is a result of blocking the auxin and ethylene receptor mechanism inside freshly forming cells resulting in higher levels of gibberellins and causing the morphology of these cells to take on staminate (male) characteristics. An analogy might be giving a woman testosterone above her natural levels resulting in increased facial hair, muscle tone etc or giving a man oestrogen which causes things like gynaecomastia (bitch tits) and decreased aggression levels. While these individuals outside appearance may change their genes and chromosomes do not ie their children would not display these symptoms.

Hope this sheds a bit of light on the subject.

Iv got some s2 plants on the go in veg just now.i didn't know they were s2 when I got them,I assumed they were s1 but I was really curious to see how reversed seeds made from a plant grown from s1 turn out.
It's a shame your thread blew up like this . your GG4 looks great zeke.

There are a lot of factors to consider but they should all be pretty uniform. Maybe uniformly good maybe uniformly bad but consistent nonetheless.

Also agree on the thread jacking.

Thread jacking? Don't we have to form a circle for that to be fun? I didn't even know.... I feel kinda left out. Not a lot of fundamentalist fuck tardism. Just the tip. Always just the tip.

A line is also acceptable...

My guess is that people that are suspicious of fems have had bad experiences with hermaphrodites from clubs. They take them home and get them into the beds and surprise surprise male parts show up. One would imagine that would be a rather disturbing experience.

Here's a few nugs of a couple different plants. Tortured in little pots and taken early. Ended up having a slight chem odor riding on a hashy earth reek . Flavor wasn't chem or chocolately but deep earthy mud, like from the bottom of the Mississippi river type of ancient earth reek. Loved the flavor. High is sort of crunchy but not totally like having an anvil strapped to your forehead. One of these phenos is easily tastier than the original. S1's of GG#4 are definitely worth the trouble due to the fact that there are individuals that exceed the original. Can't really speak about the yields as they were just 1 gallon testers. I'll see how they do outdoors. One of the strongest highs out of all the stuff I just tested. I just might be taking a nap today...

Glad it worked out for you in the end. Personally, the gg#4 got trashed. It just sits in the corner of my veg room waiting for pollen.

ROFL - if it got "trashed" - then how is it still alive in the corner of your veg room? If you think it is trash - why would you bother to put pollen to it? Nothing in that last post is cohesive at all...
