I was looking around on IG today and started seeing posts about something called Rosin technique. Its an extremely simple tech that was posted up years ago and has since resurfaced with a couple different tools than the original procedure. The process involves folding up material into parchment and pressing it with a hair straightening iron (at lowest temp) to extract the more oily parts of your flower material or hash. It can make powdery 2* material look like 4* sorta shatter-esque hash. I'm going to give it a try today probably. Wanted to make sure this tech makes it out to people who may be interested in it. There are far too many people in the industry trying to capitalize on techniques and obscuring them and that is counter-productive to moving forward. Thanks to cubangrower and defiantextracts for sharing info about this interesting method.

Yeah, didn't realize that I couldn't link the video defiant posted of him doing it. I used the straightener as well, works pretty good it seems! Made my lower melt bubble up a good bit more and made it look shattery, still had the same good flavor. I was sorta surprised but this unless you're pressing out a g at a time its a bit time consuming.

A blast from the past! Wonder what ever happened to Comphashon??

It does work and everyone who sampled it at the OMMP Christmas party I shared it at, gave it high marks!

Jump 117 also did a technique where he slapped a sheet of glass with colas and later scraped off the resin. I tried to find it on ICM search, but couldn't.

How much could u press at a time to get good results? And how thick in the parchment? I have well over a lb of bubble that needs pressed this way so whatever i can do to make it faster sounds great! Gonna do mine tomorrow or tuesday.

press it in the parchment first...to get it paper thin under low heat....then with your hands press it back into a ball or cube...then press it super hard with the heat up...any goopy stuff that pushes out to the sides is what you want...the other stuff should stick and be kinda sizzled.
good luk!

alright, ive been seeing a bunch of squished hash pictures....you have to collect the oils that come out and throw away the hash that you used. otherwise its just burnt squished hash.

This is what you should be left with.

Damn @sox that flower rosin looks straight awesome. That color is great. Rosin is definitely not as intimate a process as cold water extraction but it is fun to try out different techs. I just hope clinics don't start trying to sell rosin as melt because it's cheaper to produce the rosin

We did this with fresh plants in 1985. Beat the colas on sliding glass door glass and scraped off white hash. It was so good. And so horrible to do to your buds.lol
