Ya but what thread is saying this^^^ nobody is telling anyone to kick rocks. It like going to the drive threw or anyother food place and sittin there staring at the menu, u ask"how much is this thing that im staring directly at cost?" Hold on mam let me get your menu from you and find out. Both this thread and @Shamus
thread were taken the wrong way to some people. I get that you have questions and i said it time and time agian, its all here from you if you look. If you did and you have and still reach an impass then ya post the question. Even if not then maybe ask where you can aquire said information.

Hell ya we gotta help everyone we can, i have only asked for help a select few times and was humbled by the info i got. Our community relies on this sharing, not clone hoarding and technique hiding. We are the future. NOBODY i repeat nobody is telling anyone to fuck off. this isnt icmag or some other ego lovin forum its thc farmer.

So in conclusion i am saying that we are not your waiters, especially when people begin to insukt us cause we didnt respond to there question fast enough.
Also people that get mad becuase we ask for more info and they are afraid to give a straight answer due to ignorence or shame that there garden is not up to par.
Well cant help you there. Theres a difference between a noob and someone trying to make a quick buck off of others knowledge. If and when your in it for the long haul you wont need to ask so many questions cause you live the answers.

Happy farmin;)
well said...pretty much what i was meaning the whole time....its not about not helping ppl, its about them having a look for themselves first....on my offroad forums if ppl just start asking questions that are simple to find in the stickies, they get made fun of, and then they actually go read the stickies for usefull info....not that im saying make fun of ppl, but atleast flip through a few pages of info before you ask questions that are answered in the first paragraph of what they should have read in the first place.....good analogy with the drive thru ;)

1973.... bought the only grow book out there (that I was aware of at that time) Ed Rosenthal's grow book...started with one plant in my closet, tinfoil lined walls and one tube light. It wasn't pretty. It was a slow progression from there. Hydroponics got popular back then but I stayed with soil and organic growing.

Todays' new growers got it easy. We've come a long way. This is good.

My Granny always said real farmers are born.

The true growers will always find a way, the others won't.

Trash or be trashed @sixstrings? Lmao I doubt 99% hear want to see that, let alone swim in that pool.

Lets nip it in the bud once for all.

1 thing I never seen on a Mj board I have been on would be a newbie bible. The farmers down to throw thier 2cents at it? Nothing like mixing salts but starter info.
ppm's
super soil mix
cfm for fan to feed charcoal filter
light watts, Vs height from plants.
cloning, seed starting
benificials
preping of coir
smart pots,root pots ect

Just something to get some info in 1 spot. Have someone start a thread. Those that want to throw into it give say 2 weeks to get some methods then make it a sticky. Damn sure start it with many methods to get to end result, and beable to see differant ways. Have it sticky in the introduce section. You gotta grow and learn plants to unlock the secrets.

I can see why so many ask same questions because 99% of the titles dont come close to info in it. Look around on the boards as a newb from page 1 in indoors see how easy it is finding just the basics. I will toss my method in there. Not saying make it long ass book post but the virtue of it is see 15 methods you see patterns evolve.

Whats the thoughts?

Nice thread.
(I just throw some seeds at the dirt, and then hope for the best, feeding the plants with raw urine.)
(Sarcasm!)
Seriously though, there's a search function to ALL BBS forums.
I appreciate it when someone has actually ATTEMPTED to use it.
But I also agree with 'shaming' these 'minute millionaires' into reality.
(Actually, REAL LIFE will do it to them quick enough!)

You want 'keyboard commandos'? hang out on some shooting (gun) forums, or survivalist boards...

Oh man glory days sweating your ass off checking out 10 books on vegatable gardening, damn noids kicking in because you want weed info, walking around with high times stuffed down your pants. Bottle nutes all over the road IF could get them. Having yellow plants by week 6 and limping to the finish, List goes on. Yes the methods and equipment today damn sure nice. If you have not grown and watched a plant intently you dont know preying from taco'ing.

Reading and reading 4 months 2 hours a day, then try to grow my advice. I will say this if you never killed plants your not growing. It may sound harsh its not meant to be. Man jesus himself a plant killer and theres nothing wrong admitting you fried plants for what ever reason. Bet after you do it you damn sure will not do it again.

Thing is newbs need a list you gotta know. Thats my point. Know how to buy right fan and filter so no issues with growing. Right pot size and whats mj soil its not yard dirt. How to mix nutes, how strong and what week. Just a simple run through so they can be safe entire time in all ways. Then once there aware can further themselves deeper. Dont want to further themselves fine, just another CL post for grow gear cheap

i help so called newbies all the time. so many just don't listen to me or take my advice. It got so frustrating I gave up until recently. I was browsing the new posts and found a call for HELP! lamp shade fell and split my plant in 2. So I have been trying to give the best advice I can to this young man, I am contiutually having to deal with other posts directing him in a neg fashion and I only hope he listens to my words of wisdom . I told him from my first post im not fuckin around with newbies that are more interested in social media then really growing. He told me he was serious so Im sticking with him now and I hope that I have somehow helped/helping him because im trying really hard to reflect on how I felt when I was a newbie.really digging deep.

You know, it's funny, but when it came to growing I just jumped in, didn't read a thing and insisted on not spending any money. But when I had questions, I knew that I shouldn't be bothering others without doing at least a LITTLE bit of research.

Right now, right this very moment, the bug that's up my ass is the issue of people who join and then start putting up multiple new threads, sometimes several, on the exact same issue. It's even worse when they get pissy because no one's answered them in a particular time frame, like we owe them something. At that point I feel like I owe them a smack upside the head, because someone's gotta do it.

God that drives me to, its like no one answered them quick enough so they post the same thread in multiple forums, it definitely drives me.

lol right on sea....they put up multiple threads because they did not like the answers they got in the first one, so they are hoping with a new thread ppl will give different answers....

Man guys. I was getting close to being comfortable enough to asking some questions in the forum here. I've been plugging away for the last year, testing and reading; since I ran for so many years just winging it and all. I owe @Seamaiden a debt of gratitude for putting up with my rambling and having helped me with diagnosis this past year for sure!

Seeing these last couple threads about this stuff; and peoples' replies.....I feel like I should just keep pluggin' away and reading more, before asking. I'm definitely ready to get my numbers back inline, so hopefully it won't take many more months :).

I can totally understand all the view points everyone has posted (in both threads).

*runs off to start 10 new threads with a single leaf shot asking for help* :D:p:D

Honestly as extensive as this site has become using the search button will find you absolutely anything you could wanna ask, or at least have a thread that pertains too the subject whether it be curvy sexy girls or ask what vpd is. You can find it through the search. A great deal of responses too redundant questions have all been copy paste jobs from previous threads found through the SEARCH.

@MGRox:
I respectfully DIS agree, don't go wood-shedding on your own, when so much (invaluable) help is right here at your fingertips.
(Meaning, You SHOULD feel comfortable confiding (to your comfort level) any and ALL concerns in regards to your grow.)
(Hell, I'm getting a SHIT TON of PSYCHOLOGICAL help in dealing with my 'new reality' from here, so might as well (help) answer a grow question every once in awhile.)
Then again, like I said... I pee on my plants, (LOL) that makes them 'organic' right?
;):D:confused:o_O:rolleyes:

Thank you sincerely @Skoosh

+1 to so much invaluable info being here. I do really like this place and there's a ton of knowledge floating around and a ton of good people. TBH, in a lot of ways it has been good to see (little things) some people do on here; always nice to have some faith restored in humanity lol.

I'll plug away here for another quick minute and hopefully get to make an acquaintance or two in another month (just about) ;). Maybe after then would work out well to ask a bit....have to see.

Thanks again skoosh.
Thanks also to everyone that posted in these couple threads also. It always nice to see people's perspective on things.
