are you going to trim the bottom third off?
looking good so far though bro love the innovation and work!

I'm going to take some clones off these tomorrow and clean up the bottoms and the suckers.
I also plan on getting some Reflectex on some movable walls here in the next few days.

Hey smokey,

Hope alls going well, growth looks great!

The moveable walls sound pretty cool.. I'm sure the ladies will like em;)..

Are you finding the stretch a bit wild with the gg#4? My mates done them and says they are stretchy ladies.. For these types in my room I have to flower a tiny clone and then keep trimming the lowers for the first few weeks..

Peace

I have not built the movable walks yet. Funds are tight. Going to have to figure something out.

Now my concern is maybe I don't have the Gorilla Glue #4.
About 6 months ago I was given a clone that was labeled GG #4. So just went with it.
Grew that plant and made shit loads of clones.
Decided to do a mono crop.
About 2 weeks my buddy I got the clone from texted me asking how the White Rhino clone is doing? WTF I asked him? He said what was labeled is what it should be so no worries.
I did get the tristing leaves in veg like everyone else showed pics of.
My main concern is they're not stretching like I was expecting.
They're doing excellent though.
I have been told that the glue continues to stretch a few weeks into flower. When you think she's done, you come back and she's grown more.
I guess we shall see in about a month.

Ohh that must be a bit annoying....

I've not run my cut yet but sampled the flowers from a friend, and it has everything you see and hear on the forums. Also it comes through a trusted source, so quite confident, but you can not be sure cuts haven't been mislabeled somewhere down the line... I'm sure yours will be fine..

What bulbs are you using for the first few weeks of flower?

I was expecting twice the stretch by now.
Which really has me thinking I might be growing the White Rhino.
Back in the late 90's in Colorado I was growing a cut of White Rhino that grew just like this does. Hardly any stretch.

Ok! That looks like the growth on the more Indy Dom's I've ran.. Gg4 from my research and from what close friends have told, stretches a LOT!

We compare to some of the staples in our stables.. If my mate says it stretches like chiesel or amnesia, then within a week I'd know if its something else.

At least it should be a good cut! And it looks like the net is at the right height for cola support...

Never ran white rhino, does this cut yield well? I got shanti to make critical widow, that's a great strain which I need to revisit..

Hey keep smiling, its going to be a bountiful harvest no doubt..

Peace

Nice! Very well built grow machine, the only question is how far over a gram per watt will it produce.:D

That's a very good question.
I need to figure out how many watts my Dehumidifier, 12" Max Fan, 2@ 6" inline fan, Sump pump, wall fan, 2 floor fans take up.
I'm guessing about 4600-5000 watts being used.
I set a low goal and will be happy with 2.5-3oz per plant. I really don't see how I won't get this amount. Which would be about 5.5#

Thank you very much.
I never have used the GH Lucas formula of 8/16. Hopefully it works out.
I am using 800 ppm of GH and also using Crystal Burst 0-15-15

800ppm in Flower ? I would bump her up to 1200 or more sometimes I run her at 1800ppm. I just look for the very tip of the leaves starting to burn then I bring her down a bit. I never ran GH I have always used Ionic nutes for the past 10 years I hate to fix it if its not broke you what I mean. Looks like she is working just fine I would not worry about it.

Hello canappa,

Why do you run at these levels?

Peace

Edit: also what ppm scale are you using?

It's weird. The reason I bumped it down from 1100 ppm is 2 things. One I added a bloom booster. Wanted to be safe so I lowered the ppm in case of bloom booster burning shit up.
Second is the weirdest thing. It almost seems like I'm getting excess nitrogen. Some leaves are doing the claw from what seems like nitrogen toxicity.
Not sure how this could be. I'm not using the veg food at all. Only 8ml of micro and 16ml of bloom per gallon.
Now they're looking a little pale, so I'm going to bump up the ppm to 1150 to see how they do.

@Smokey503ski @billy liar Ok I will to explain it the best I can it all depends on the strain I start off 300 to 400 ppm first two weeks then I bump it up to 800ppm wk 3 or 4 by then she should start showing flowers. at this point I bump it up 200ppm each wk until I see the tips of the leaves starting to get a little nute burn then I bump it down and leave her there the final wk I flush with just pure water. you have to keep in mind I use ionic nutes is very forgiving on my plants also keep in mind that the roots are being missed and there not submerged in the nutes 24 /7. NFT is a totally different ball game guys I've seen people run well over 2000 ppm in their systems it all depends how much you girls will eat. also with ionic nutes my PH stays constant so I know she's feeling well Google up Newt in NFT systems and you will find out a lot of people run higher than normal I hope this helps

I just went and did my morning routine in the room.
They are drinking 15 gallons a day.
The ppm and ph is staying the same. But the water level is going down.

Thanks for the explanation of what you do..
I used to do similar, now I dont exceed 1.2ec or 600ppm, and I've converted many other growers in all types of hydro and soils to run the same, they all have the same results as with the higher feed. I'll run an explanation in my thread as to why I run so low.

Your plants are showing uptake of water and food at an equal rates, perfect. :)

Smokey, your plants first signs of high nitrogen levels would be very dark green foliage. I've seen it from playing with ratios of N : PK... Its also very well documented across the world of horticulture. Leaf claw can be genetic expression or even environment influenced.. Cucumbers bend when they touch things as they develop, I've seen this first hand in my Polly tunnel.

I have some s1's of a cutting called Pez, an old pnw indica/affie, and I was concerned that the are very pale in comparison to other cuts, but a quick word with other growers of the same seed confirmed that its genetic expression, and some can be very pale limey indeed...

Leaf claw can be caused by a few things.. I can't quite remember but either p or k lockout can cause it iirc, but dont quote me lol...

I'd just keep to a trusted nute formula and maintain a weekly nute refresh.

Good luck
Peace
