Maybe try circulating a letter that outs the nag. Letter to the editor? The will of the voters versus the will of one lone bitch. Westword might do a story? Stage a protest in front of her house? She might back down if she gets outed, notice she didn't seem to sign her note. But yeah, trashing rentals is bad, up to the owners as far as enforcing the rental agreements, not her business.

If your ball'n sure but if you can't afford to buy I would not expect a green friendly colorado .....colorado land lords are not green friendly....Str8 up brother if you have a green friendly opportunity watch your back because I've already seen it over and over, renters get bent over every time with few, rare, exceptions....

Already here and haven't had any issues. I sorta live in the hood so they don't really care as long as they get their rent:) I still follow the ye olde rules of living where it is illegal though; however its just a hobby grow, so at most they kick me out, not earning a living from it yet. I had a chance to work from home permanently with my company so moved out here last year, now its time to figure out where to settle down and, dare to dream but..., try and figure out a way to change industries and do something I like rather than just paying the bills.

Going to have to look up more about Longmont I guess, just drove through it a few times and it seemed like a decent town. South of the city I was looking at castlerock. Sorta wierd trying to figure it out as I am now thinking where a good place to raise a family is rather than just places I personally think are awesome.

Douglas County is not green friendly bro no disrespect but do your research if your making a move. I have bullshit petty prior a that kept me out of castle rock and I already know better to grow in a rental......if you buying then maybe you could live the dream but if your renting don't set your self up for dissappointment.....people arguing that you could rent and live the dream are in denial like I "was"....the rat race is real and I haven't hustled in years and the grind still affects my existence, I don't even smoke know more and and feel ridiculed at damn near every opportunity to feel "normal" being an "expothead" now I'm just a sellout pipe dreamer remembering the hope of living freely as a pothead psychedelic citizen...ha sounds good like I said if you can buy, you might still make the bus....best of vibes on your effort and please don't let my failure rain on your parade/dream

Stay up

The search is still in early stages, but local ordinances will definitely be checked out. Nothing down south really seemed that appealing to me. My next move is going to be buying, and hopefully permanently settling down, as I am tired of moving. Had a house before moving out here but hated where I lived so making sure I don't wind up in the same situation.

So far....CO you are my favorite state, if only i could grow a bushy beard to fit in better...

thank you urban dictionary http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Wrongmont

Truth no ones responsibility but the home owner. Not that womans for sure. Should start a new letter and send multiples to her, along the lines of "Many concerned neighbors have contacted us about your possible witch hunt and violation of individuals rights. ACLU has been contacted, as well as other news outlets with your name and letter....etc" Lol. o_O

THIS!!!

If a renter messed up her place, then she should probably follow up with them regarding damages. I would be damn furious about someone trying to butt into my personal business. That is between tenet and landlord, why is she butting in.

Keeping stealth was the single best decision I made regarding my indoor garden. Highly recommend growing under the radar wherever you are. One neighbor finding out is all it takes. Keep a nice lawn, no parties, quiet life, no odors, no cannabis trim in the trash out front, hidden, peaceful coexistence. Works for me.:D

Sorry to hear what happened to Nederland. I tried to be a nice guy and let the home owner park his rv in my driveway and live there for a couple weeks. He sees a couple plants and cant deal with it, now I am looking for a place to move. I have not done any damage, they just see the plants and somehow think you are violating there rights.

This is why I would not want to rent from individuals...you are paying this guy and he is living in the driveway? Individual property owners do not respect renters rights, would way rather deal with rental companies/corporations. Pay your bills and don't cause problems, they just leave you alone.

While visiting a friend's rental house near Denver I mentioned that I could smell his garden as soon as I got out of the car and he said that might be one of the neighbors, almost every house in the block, on both sides of the street are growing and some are REALLY growing. Wonder if the electric company has problems with the increased consumption of the neighborhood. If the price of cannabis falls, a lot of these growers will not be able to keep their gardens lit. Wonder if the new concentrates law will affect these folks, I noticed one house that had a trash can filled with butane cans. So, apparently there are cannabis-friendly rentals around.

lol. Thats right, asks to stay here for a couple weeks, raises my rent then tells me the plants got to go, while he is plugged into my electric and using my water. Not many places for rent around here, hoped he would stay in Texas and not bother me. I could just say I'm legal, go away, start the eviction, but I think I will move on to more productive things. He wants the plants gone in a week. Its that attitude that since I grow marijuana I gave up all my personal rights.

It gets better, he wants the plants gone so he can show the house to some interested buyers. Two hillbilly's from out of state that aint got a clue. They bought the residential lots behind me and are planning to put a commercial grow there. could it get any stupider?

I would like to get out of denver...but f that. I will stick to the crazy mexican vs. black fights that break out in my parking lot. I moved here in part to flee BS regarding others getting into my personal life. If I pay you, and stick to our agreement on a lease or whatever, I expect you to leave me the hell alone.

Pretty hilarious on kicking you out for growing so he can sell to growers. You should tell him you will pitch the amazing mountain soil(lol) to them to help the deal go through if you can get time to wind up the current crop:)

No doubt some of those guys in Nederland messed up houses and are just being a nuisance in general. Fortunately not to many of them here were I am. The other side of the story is that normally rational people can get real weird when they see a couple of pot plants.

I'm far away from all the bullshit.

For those interested here in CO it's easy to find 3 acres and a place to pull in a trailer/camper and start growing.

$30-50k will get you some freedom....or a little more will get you a well, septic and small bunk house.

LoL I thought you loved living in Nederland?

it was a very special place.

but there is so much turmoil that many longterm locals are upset enough to talk of getting rid of local police for BoCo Sheriffs and dissolving (how ever that's done) the municipality. Super vocal and vigorous anti-pot kick back right now. half the town seems to hate the other half
