Hi seraphim, yeah them grow times sound a lot more realistic, think dinafems amnesia is a 90 day, the blue cheese and og are about 70-75 days if I remember rightly. With the super autos, what is the main difference? Size/structure of the plant or the final yields? I've got a little bit of knowledge with autos but ya can never know to much

The main difference with super autos is that they have an extended lifespan which gives a better yield, but requires a bigger pot anything under 3 gallon and you wont realise the plants potential.
All the other factors are subject to breeding so structure, potency smell etc.. all vary according to the strain

Specified grow times on all seed sites(for autos) are nearly always lies! Seed companies suck you in by claiming 60 days but the truth is that there are only two kinds of autos.
Normal autos, which takes 70 days/10 weeks and super autos, which takes 100 days/14 weeks. These times are from the day the plant is above ground until harvest

So take all specified times with a pinch of salt as they are put there as a marketing tool.

I will definitely keep this in mind next time around lol just the other day some of the white pistils r turning a reddish orange color ... Definitely not time for harvest being no sizeable buds read a forum saying something about the plant ripening is this true???

@Minion what size is that cabinet? You do know the amnesiaXXL will get large probably (hence the XXL). Blue cheese is looking good, nice branching already.how much light also?
STR8

Tiny, 1x2ft maybe, it's ideal for starting them in, may get another weeks use from that then I'm gonna have to get inventive as my last lot went into the poly tunnel earlier this year, and there still under 2 125w blue cfls, and I've got a single 250w red cfl for flowering. And cheers, yeah the blue cheese is thriving, it's taking the nutes better than the og, that was only a freebie anyways so, and yeah I'm hoping to get some impressive results off the amnesia.

As long as you give them all the light you can! They all should do pretty damn good for you. But yes will run out of room pretty quickly with three plants in there. So like a kitchen cabinet?

Yeah light is the key, I've just had a bit of a scare with the og, it went in at the same time as the blue cheese, and I thought it had started showing female traits a couple of days ago and I've just checked this morning and it looks like it may have turned I to a male so removed it for a few days until its showing a defo on what sex it is. And it's just a wardrobe, plants take favour over my clothes ;)

Not really.. I used to think this to, then I read 4 grow books, got some experience under my belt and realized the only real true was to tell was going by the trichomes. I found out some plants the pistols change color for many reasons from plant traits, light heat and others.. also pollination will cause this early.. just sit back and enjoy the color change, make sure everything else looks healthy and wait for them buds to fatten up and crown up nicely because an early chop can make all that hard work go to waste.. your high will hit you fast and go away just as fast.. Rule of thumb: Clear trichomes= fast up high but won't last long as it should, Milky=morning smoke with a good uplift and really the only early time to chop but will lose out on some weight (my wife likes this high on some strains).. Milky/Amber mi= Good stoney high and at half ambering trichomes it should last a while... ,
All Ambering trichomes= the high most peeps are used to, kind of a drowsy can't get off the couch high and depending on the strain your not gonna get shite done for a few hours.. A great way to get 2 diff highs off a plant is take a percentage at Milky then let the others finish up going amber and actually watch the bud tips crown up and form a flowering head.. hope this helps ya out...
and on your 2nd photo, remove the lowest leafs so the plant can concentrate it's energies on the upper growth ok.. your plants looks great by the way..

Right I've just swapped over to my red light today, and also going to swap nutes over to flowering nutes 2mo on the blue cheese. It's on it's own for the time being in the cupboard now. I've also been given an array of boosters/blooms. What do I use for best results, been on the bio-vega now bio-Flores (soil) and I've got big bud booster (advanced nutes) . General hydroponics ripen, general hydroponics ripen and ionic boost. I hear mixed things about ionic lines and also not to mix them out of there lines. The others I'm not sure about as I'm trying to do this with organic nutes.

Well, I hate to say it but I've never been a big fan of mixing nutrient lines.. maybe a bloom booster but I'd rather use all one line.. for bloom boosters though on an Auto hit her week 5-6 at half strength.. I use Roots Organic soil and foods with awesome results.. think about getting down to one line of nutrients. but hey, that's just me and I used to do it to.. just seemed like I always had calmag issues or something else as some don't mix together well.. be sure to mix each in water 1st and never together in raw form ok.. good luck man

Ah cool, yeah that does make full sense, I will be looking to get some of the bio-boost to go with the bio-vega and Flores for my next go round, I had all my nutes donated to me so. This is a major learning curve, I used to grow just with rain water and a greenhouse, but my outdoor space got shut down so now I'm going on this route :) and cheers for the advice on when to start using the blooms, also sorry for high jacking the op's thread lol it just looked like the most interesting place to join in here :)

No worries, get help where ever ya can Minion... we don't mind. Some nutes mix ok and some actually cancel one another out at times so I try not to mix.. but when things are donated what do ya do right? Start off with a light hand until you get a good feel for it. Depending on what soil your using they may not need much.. I use Roots Organic Soil by Aurora and it's so good I fed only twice last grow using Roots Organic Buddha Grow/Bloom and a few others in the same line and found the plants did just fine.. one of the few soils that show almost no Cal/Mag deficiencies during the grow.. and I've tried most all of them from Grotek pure Coco 5mg bricks, Ocean Forrest by Foxfarm, Subcools Super Soil that cost an arm and a leg to get everything you need... and for $16.95 a bag this stuff is simply amazing.. and I reuse it for 2-3 grows by just adding some fresh soil to the mix.. a product like Hygrozyme will help when reusing soil as it turns the little roots you failed to sift out into foods the plant can use as it breaks it down.. Remember, feed the soil, not the plant.. rock on buddy.. and read read read.. just be careful not to keep chasing the next best idea out there... and when you find a technique the works for you, go with it.. Luck Man.

Wow they look good quagmire :) how old are these? My blue cheese auto is in week 6 now so hopefully about 4-5 weeks left max. My og I've decided it's a photo not auto for now. My old outdoor greenhouse grows used to rock, the last plant I done in there I ended up with 15 oz dry, was a beast of a tree, stood at 6ft tall and Christmas tree'd out to about a 4ft spread I used nitrozyme for the 1st 3 weeks so, it is a bit of a mixed mute flow from day one on this grow. Ill be sure to show the final produce from this grow. Hopefully it will produce well :)

These are at around day #48 or so.. probably have to chop them around day #68 just so I can get things moved on to this test grow for Seraphim 19 we've got going on starting the 25th coming up.. I've seeded all my latest plants and making my own crosses just to have some fun...

The new name Diemeret= Greek Goddess of The Harvest so thought it might bring me some luck using it to name the new cross... hehe.. then Sniper on the other one as it's already one hit shit and adding more AK47 and then Gorilla Grape x Maxine/Superfreak should really make it a killer strain, thus Sniper.. Superfreak is one wicked strain made by a friend in Canada using a super strong Sativa called M39 by SSSC...

Image Image View attachment 536863 View attachment 536863 Hey guys, ok, I'm growing two auto OG Kush from Nirvana Seeds.
First off lemme just give the basics: ALL the variables/factors are EXACTLY the same for these like medium (FFOF Soil about 50%, mixed with 15% perlite, 25% vermiculite and roughly 10% sphagnum moss for texture/aeration, etc) in, I believe, about 3 gal pots...lighting is 1 250 watt 2700k CFL emitting 15000 lumens that serves the 'main' light for the entire tent (btw is a black, reflective Mylar lined grow tent, measures 25"x25"x48"; I have one 4" fan for intake and a clip on 7" fan inside the tent for circulation as well as a 4" Ventech fan pulling heat/exhaust thru a 4" aluminum/foil 'dryer line exhaust' 450 cfm attached to a carbon scrubber) as well as a light fixture I rigged with TWO 45watt 2700k CFL's AND TWO 23 watt 6500k CFL's that altogether put out somewhere in the 10,000 lumen range. Also I just put 2 more 45 watt 2700k CFL's for back/side lighting)...
Ok, I'm just gonna cut to my question, as quickly as possible but including any essentials y'all should know: ok, as these are autos and are generally light feeders (so I've read) but I DO USE NUTES! and I'm thinking maybe too many, not necessarily too MUCH as I use about 30%-40%, at most, of the amount recommended on the bottles. I use as my BASIC nutrients the Fox Farm Soil Trio that consists of: Big Bloom, a micro nute, NPK of .01-.3-.7 and includes EWC and bat guano; Grow Big, for veg, NPK of 6-4-4; and Tiger Bloom, for flowering, NPK of 2-8-4. In addition to these I use a bunch of Advanced Nutrients different products: Voodoo Juice, Tarantula and Piranha (for roots) and ALL the aforementioned products I use basically throughout the plants life, veg and bloom unless instructed otherwise on the bottle. Also during and towards the end of flowering, again depending on instructions, I use: CarboLoad, Sensizym, Big Bud, Nirvana, Overdrive, Budcandy and, appropriately, Flawless Finish. All that said, I'm still dialing it in and trying to see which nutes are really making the difference for what I spend on them. This is hard because I have a small grow space that's really only big enough to grow 2-3 plants so doing a kind of 'control' experiment to discern the efficacy or lack thereof of using these nutrients.....long story short; Does anyone have experience with any or all of these products and how well they work and/or what I can do without or if any of them maybe counteract the effects of another???
Also, last thing, I promise. If my plants soil is dry and basically, I feel, COULD be watered daily, should I water it daily? ( I know, stupid question) I mean it's a big plant and probly could use the H2O every day, sans the nutes. On the other side of the coin (and tent, lol) I have my other plant which surprisingly is an absolute DWARF (although it's only about a week younger), gets the same nutes, same light schedule (18/6) and even came from the same batch of seeds! I think I may have stunted it by letting the tap root get exposed when it was about a week old which I then immediately put it in its final pot.
Alright, I'm done now. Thanx for bearing with me, if you did, for this whole thing.
I'm releasing this post in paperback in December so be on the lookout, lol!!!! Totally joking. I'm including some photos as visual aids and just to let you guys see how they look and if you notice something I don't. Peace!!!

P.s. Tent temp is 72*-80* with RH of between 36%-42% and the big girl is in week 2 of (pre?)flowering.
