Would you say rule of thumb, the longer a plant takes to develop buds and pre-flowers the longer of a budding time it has? Say im running a few diff strains. If my kush has nice big buds already but my lemon haze doesnt quite have the same level of development, Is it more than likely because the kush has a shorter flowering time, or cause i stunted my haze lol
I'm not really experienced with growing a larger variety of strains; mostly short flowering indicas so this more landrace type is taking longer than I thought.

But I think if one strains buds look less developed than another, it probably does have a longer flowering time than the one developing quicker. Just how it makes sense to me.

I fully expect to dedicate my 600w to my SLH for another couple weeks after i chop down my indi's and indi-doms

You got a landrace? Awesome. Howd you come across landrace seeds in a special cracker jack box?

Big Buddha seeds has a blue cheese that has some good phenos with one that has a moldy bleu cheese funk that is awesome!

For PM, potassium bicarbonate products like greencure is great; especially for bloom. Fairly cheap too at under $15-20.

Lazerus, BAS has an aloe powder that is easy to use and cheaper than neptunes by far. There's also soap nut powder which has much higher amount of saponins than aloe.

Good morning folks!! I'm a week into bloom and no signs of transition. Going to switch to 11/13 and hunker down for a possible three month bloom. Can't say I wasn't warned!

Hey y'all!! I NEED some help!! I will be going out of town from the 22nd of NOV to the 2nd of DEC...Of course I have no one that can look after my plants so I bought a Blumat system with enough spikes and a 5gal rez with float valve that my hose with chlorine filer will be attached to so they don't go dry..The Problem is they wont be getting any food for those 10 days only water!! So should I try to OVER feed them right before i go so that it kinda levels itself off (if it even works that way) or should I just try to top-dress enough of what I think each plant will need?? Idk Its just this ha been going as the best round yet and , my plants are looking super awesome and I just don't wanna fuck it all up...Here are a few pics from when I feed/rotated/mulched last night...Which could also be found in my thread about Anbessa nutes, link under my signature...hint hint...

I def wouldnt overfeed them.

Maybe pick up some worm castings or some sort of amendment and just line the tops of your pots with it. Like a top-dress, but do it after you water your last time and leave the house. That way you get the most time out of it.
Not sure how blu mat works but if water is coming in from the top, some top dressing would keep em eating healthy

I think you will be fine. Any -def you can fix when you get home. Long as they dont die i think your straight. Haha

Im so scared this is the firs time im going away during a grow and the rare chance of a fire is enough to scare the piss outta me! So I bought a 2kg flame defender fire system which is basically an upside down fire extinguisher with a sprinkler heading that goes off at 195 degrees...I wanted the 6kg bc it has a 6ft spray radius but everywhere was sold out or ridiculously over priced so the 2kg i got has a 4ft spray radius..I prolly wont place it in my tent since gorilla tents are pretty fire proof and i would hope the tent would help contain it till it hi the sprinkler which i am mounting above the ballast like 6in away from my tent...I think its just a piece of mind thing bc I think if a fire really broke loose id stilll be fucked and lose my house!!!

I guess it kinda depends on the light and hood your running. My very first flower run i had 4 plants trained trimmed topped fimmed and super cropped ready to go nuts. It worked. But my increase in tops didnt necessarily give me a bigger harvest.

I still ended up with an average yield. Everything you can see on top there turned out good, but theres a fuck ton of "lower buds" And a good amount of ...i guess i wouldn't say larf, but lightly underdeveloped buds. Stuff i separated from my good top notch smoke... Feel me? I had a lot of bud sites NOT GETTING ENOUGH LIGHT to develop

600w hps for example, has more penetration, stronger light, i would have had more developed buds further down into my canopy.

I read somewhere the rule of thumb is about a half pound for 400wHPS light 3/4 pound for a 600wHPS and a lb per 1000wHPS is what you SHOULD at least get. However people pack more on cause of...you know...hydro, bigpots, perf condotions, genetics....ive heard people claim 2lb per 1000w for example.

You have to make 100% use of your light coverage i guess is what im trying to say.
If you look in that first picture, i have buds outside the light, stuff not under direct light, those didnt develop as well either.

So my plants put a lot of effort into these B buds, energy, nutrients, that it couldve used to make my other nugs BIGGER.

My advice. Fill out your light space, provide enough light. they WILL branch out and fill in.

Everything i said is in my opinion and experience, so anyone is welcome to disagree or confirm what i said.
Respect, good vibes

Well THATS good news lol. Your doing what you can, sounds like you got some good plans in motion man. Dont worry, it wont change anything haha.

Just do something simple and light. If your not comfortable with that pick some of this stuff up
IMG 20151014 081223

Its simple and mainly consists of worm castings and compost. Wont hurt any of the ladies, and will increase your microbiology. : )

Or you know, wait for more advice from someone else haha top dress is the only thing i can think of when it comes to nutrients not added to the water. Good luck and good vibes my dude

its impossible to answer that bro. Yield questions can never really be answered because there is a lot that goes into that. Good genetics enough light correct feeds it goes on and on. Good luck though.

@Lazerus00 grab a bag of compost man. Thin top dress or some worm castings. I think you will be fine without anything but this would ensure it. I really wouldn't worry to much. Also u can just add a low dose of food to your Rez.

Yeah I know
I tried to get some a couple times locally and failed
Pretty sure I could've got them in Tacoma
But when I saw that Logic dropped some right as I got off work and they still had some I figured I'd pay for some bandwidth
I don't actually know any growers so this place had been a huge help
No one should have to ask a hydro store guy how to grow...
Not that I'm apposed to spending money at the one I trust

I was going to do that, like something light and thin but I know my kiddies and they will blow threw that 5gal rex in a day or 2 and by the it will have been refilled from the float valve, but whatever they should be fine bc im using BAS's living soil this run and its came packed fulll of goodies and i added some of my own as well...I'll with a mix of maybe ewc and grokashi and maybe a lil compost...i dont wanna over do it....

I'd just use water. Feed before you leave just as normal. Do not alter it. If the timing is not right, I would skip it.

Those are healthy beasts. They will be absolutely fine with just water for two weeks (much longer)

They will also be nice & ready for the feeding when you come back. What I do is increase that feeding by 5%, sometimes 10%

It's not even a question in my mind, that's what I would do.

& wow, those are some extraordinarily beautiful girls. I have to get your soil recipe for me mums.
