What's keeping the black market alive are all the states where it is still illegal.

I'm not sure I agree with that. Most of the peeps I know here are all servicing former card holders that got tired of paying 300 a year to have their so called "right" to smoke weed.
Then there were those that realized that the boutique growers had way better shit than the dispos were churning out. And to me thats where the State fucked up by not allowing private growers to be able to donate their weed to the dispos.
All the dispo erb here is mass produced, harvested early, improperly dried and cured, I take that back , forced dried and not cured at all, then not to mention, all of the PGR's and pesticides/fungicides being used by workers that dont have a clue what they are doing. Then in the States infinite wisdom there are no regulations to assure that the industry has any safety net for the unwitting patient who is smoking the crap they are putting out. We dont check here for molds, pests, thc or cbd content nada ziltch.
There will always be a market for well grown boutique weed. Long live the small time guys. Those of us that over 30-40 years risked life, limb, and liberty & freedom to bring this plant out of the darkness.
I at first was sort of giddy at living long enough to see it become legal. Then watching it all unfold has given me a sickening feeling watching how greed , control and power are ruining the entire movement. I'll step off my soapbox. Sorry for the rant. Peace
