Winter Crop : Sog 86 Plants - 36 Different Strains.

Hi,

For the first time, i've tried a SOG crop with heavy defoliation.

I first germed 42 fem seeds :
-2 Blue Dream (HSO)
-1 Kosher Tangie (Free seed from DNA/RP)

-1 Cannalope Kush (Free seed from DNA/RP)

-3 Tropimango (Somango S1 from Philosopher seeds)

-3 Purple Afghan Kush (PAK) (Dinafem)
-1 Starbud (Hortilab)
-2 Sour Power (Hortilab)
-2 Sugar Pop (Free seeds Philosopher)
-2 Y-Griega (Medical seeds)
-2 Shiva Skunk (Sensi seeds)
-1 Gokunk (Free seed Philosopher)

Five days later, i thought i could ad more by making a SOG, so i germed some regulars :
-5 White Rhino (Nirvana)
-10 OG Ghost Trainhaze#1 (Rare Dankness)
-5 Strawberry Cough (Free seeds Hazeman)
-4 MKUltra (free seeds from THSeeds)
-5 White Lotus (Bodhi)
-5 Solo Stash x Biker (Free seeds Karma)
-5 White D x Alien (Garden of Dreams)
-6 Fire Headband (Riot)
-10 9 pounds Hammer (TGA)
-11 Silver Mountain (Bodhi)
-5 Skylock (Free seeds from Artisan du bonheur)
-5 Super skunk (Sensi seeds)

All the feminized have germed and from the 76 reg seeds, 5 never germed and i have to say that 4 of them were riot's Fire Headband... the others one was 1 White Lotus, or 1 MKU or 1Solo Stash x Biker, don't remember.

I've got a lot of plants very closed the ones from the others, so i can't read the name of the strain wich is wrotten on the pot cause i can't reach approximatively half of the plants!!! I could do it, but i don't want to move all my plants just to see who is who! (i'm very clumsy and i don't wan't to stress them.)

So, i had 113 plants in veg in my 6.5 feet x 6.5 feet (2m x 2m), but i use only 32 or 33p² for the plants.

I use 2 x 450W MH for the grow and 2 x 600W + 2 x 400W HPS for the flowering stage.

As the plants were very tight, i asked myself about defoliation. I've allready tried a little with success and i read on a forum (don't remember wich one) that a grower removed ALL the big fans exept the two on the top, so i tried.
And i have to say that it is too much for some of my strains exept the og/sour hybrids.
I think defoliation sould be done in a different way according to the plant and the pheno.

After sexing, 86 plants were females.
Today is day 72 of 12/12.

Thank's for all the comments.

I'll try to show all my plants, even the ugly ones... (allready done with "Toutankamon" and "Shiva Skunk", they ar'nt ugly but they are not as beautifull like somme others...)

I'll try to take the time to write a little more about my way to grow and to answer to everybody.

I use Plagron light mix with biocanna bottles + Catalisator.
Catalisator is a French booster wich contains lot of things such as trichoderma, microbias, silice, amino acides, vitamines, elicitors, micro-elements, etc...

Pots are 3.5L ones (0.89 gallon).

I've forgotten to say that feminized have grow 25 days before 12/12 and the regulars 19 or 20 days.

Gonna cut more tonight, i'll show you some pictures toomorrow.

I've begun to smoke some Ghost train haze#1, the one i cut at 80 days (you can see her on 23 december message), it was to soon to harvest her (lot of milky and clear trichomes, maybe 50/50, no amber), but she is already very strong, a very heady high wich make me feel like there was a hurrican in my head, it's very long lasting.
The smell is strong lemon, it make me think a lot to amnesia "core cut", very good and theoricaly, my oyhers GTH#1 still flowering will be much better...!

Here is one more 9 Pounds Hammer, 9 Lbs Hammer#4, harvested yesterday, after 91 days (13 weeks) of 12/12.
I have to cut my others 9 LbsH tonight, as the trichomes are about 15/20% amber (maybe more, hard to value, you can see by yourselves on macro picures), and i don't like to harvest indica doms to late.

What an amazing thread! I love the variety and obviously you have the skills. My question is specific to the super skunk, how does she smell and taste? Is she skunky?
