I'm the same way we drove to Vegas and when it was my turn to drive my friends all passed out and left the phone playing the same artist I lost it after on hour and drove in silence then that got annoying so I woke my wife up and had her shuffle me a playlist

Guess who got their new 960w Mars Reflector in the mail today???? ME!!!! So excited to have this soley for veg...besides running perpetual I am excited to see how the plants respond differently to the LED, fingers crossed for some tight nodes and strong branching!!!

Finally got new bulbs for the t5. It had 2 new-ish sprectrolux in it, but the apollo's seemed much brighter no contest so I swapped em all out to 4 Apollo 6500's. Letting the seedlings soak up some hps for an hour or two so they should all be ready for a fresh drench come morning. Hopefully the bulb change will boost the temp for the seedlings as well, struggling with that in the cold ass closet.

Spectrum does play a role imo. I've found clones like the lower end of the kelvin spectrum. Same as bloom. In saying that I've also blasted them with light and they did fine. But I usually put one single 2700k CFL over my clones.

So hey dudes, my little 4month old boy is going to get checked out tomorrow. Hes got a really bad cough, ive heard him cough before this is diff. I learned yesterday that my aunt that came by and held him has tuberculosis. She has a picture on FB of her holding him...My mom had seen it online and called us immediately, explaining that she has TB and she shouldnt be anywhere NEAR him or our other children. That stupid woman, wtf. Well its 5 am, i cant sleep, doctors appt. In just a few short hrs but right now i feel like im watching minutes creep by.... Im so stressed out... Worried dad mode. And it sucks. If something bad happens to him i dont know wtf ill do.... Please keep some positivity and prayer out there for my little man and hope this cough isnt anything serious....

Hey Bro I have information On being exposed to Active and inactive TB
During my time in the service The ship I was on had to evacuate the Philippines Island This was when Mt Pinatubo Erupted, Well as we loaded The ship down with thousands of locals and Other It was later discovered 30% of the population had In-active TB or Carriers of IT.....
about 1% were active TB
Once the TB test was administered to each sailor (You Know that skin test) some of us popped positive for the Exposeur to the live TB
I freaked I was one...
BUT
The Dr started me on a TTB converter pill
you take a pill like a Vite-mine once a day everyday for 6 months and never have a TB test again.
ITS CALLED an I.N.H. Tablet and it is very VERY simple NO worries.
That was a long time ago and I have had a chest X-Ray every year with NO Issues.
It will be OK Bro.

I worked with a woman that got quarantined for a bit over TB when she was in her teens. She's late 40s now and aside from being a quarantined teen girl, which is detrimental to social standing in high school, she has had no ill effects from it. It'll be okay man, stay positive!

Which light? I'm not giving you a hard time, I'm curious.

I went to their site to look it up....wow, they have really upped their game! Their new lights look dope. If you are listening Mars Hydro, I could take the light for a killer, documented, comparison. I'm all set up to do a perfect side by side!
Even their older Mars2 series is an awesome veg light. Ime, it vegges better than an MH. Not as good as the Horti Blue, but only slightly. In this pic, I just rotated the blue to the middle hood, but you can see how much fuller the plants on the left are...those were vegged under the blue. But anyway, even their older series lights would perform just about as well as this. I bet the newer ones will slaughter. My singular complaint was that it doesn't match the yield of HPS. Although, I don't know if any LED has done that yet, at least, not personally. & a lot of the documented tests are done by someone with a stake in the lights success. It's not that I think they are fabricating the results, but if you own Mars hydro, you aren't exactly the most unbiased person to do it. & that gives people a preconceived notion.

If it's too cold, they will die (obviously). But if you are below 72, they can practically stall on you. You want at least 75*, for seedlings I shoot more for 82-85*

I got the Mars Reflector Series 192 which has 5 watt epistar diodes and puts out 960 watts...it will be for veg only in my new 4x4 tent

The lowest they hit last night was 68, which is a huge improvement. They also stood back up straight and experienced a decent spurt. I've got them off to the side in the 400w right now keeping them toasty. Sometime next week they'll be getting moved to 1gal and placed under the 400w so they only have a few more days to make *fingers crossed*
