Hands down this product works and works well. Keep up the good work guys. Before anyone knocks the product get a sample. These dudes are very generous and the sample lasts forever. If your happy with your current regime well then stay with it but no reason to knock these guys.

It'd be great if i could see a side by side with ArmorSi +osa28. Currently i think i've got a gallon of Armor, and still a quart of Armor from another grow. I would be interested in trying this product. I have a few questions. The first, is when would be the ideal time to add osa tea to a brewed tea? Would you pre-mix it in say, 25 gallons of water, then add your 5gal brewed tea to that res? Second, would you still benefit mixing humic acid with osa28? Third, If yes to the last question, would you recommend adding the silica to the water first or the ful-power? Thanks!
Not even close man. Osa is such a better product it's not even funny.

YES: "Would you pre-mix it in say, 25 gallons of water, then add your 5gal brewed tea to that res?" And add OSA/28 to the water first.

Humic acid is definitely a good thing to add in most cases but doesn't really have a connection to silicic acid performance. I like FulPower together with OSA/28, it's a great product from my experience.

well said brother! the best thing about this is they give a 60ml sample for 8.35$ which is 60 gallons of feed on the higher end of the application, so anyone can try it and not be out much money at all, that way they can form their own opinion on if they like it or not. i know this is not a product for everyone but for a guerilla grower such as myself this is a blessing. i need all the extra defense's i can get out in mother nature bc insects and fungi will eat my ladys alive if no prevention is taken

Hopefully this covers a few of the above...

1) No product is important or necessarily for everyone. If you don't wear lipstick do you go to Revlon and trash lipstick? If you don't need to product, don't buy it.

2) "Emergency silicon" -- No it's not usually an emergency. However, the most important time to get loads of silicon in the plant is early veg. There is some good research showing that foliar applications of silicic acid can help against immediate stress responses.

3) We don't claim increase in yields because there are so many factors. Better than a CO2 program? Can't compare the two because they do completely different things. Silicon is mostly for biotic and abiotic stress resistance but can directly contribute small amounts to yield. More important is when a plant is less stressed it is able to perform better and respond to other inputs like CO2, super-cropping, etc, which can mean higher yields.

4) If you are killing, no one is saying to change what you do. Find what works for you and do it well. Talk about it, tell others. Remember that not everyone does everything the same way. And there are many ways to get great results. If people spend time developing a long-term soil program that provides plenty of needed silicic acid, awesome. Some people don't want to spend the time and prefer buying a bottle. Why be a dick and criticize them for it?

5) Product Performance. Silicic acid has the most effect on plants that are underperforming. No question. I wouldn't even recommend people use the product if everything is perfect. No grower should use a product just for the sake of using a bottle. Every fertilizer decision should be made based upon plant needs and grower goals.

6) "Snake oil" Silicic acid is NOT snake oil! Neither is OSA/28! We extract silicic acid from unicorn semen and ferment for 3 weeks using a bacteria from buffalo mucus. A lot of research points to this as the only true way to make plant available silicon.
I for one am looking forward to use your product, as I am using a calcium based nutrient line. If I understand this correctly, silicic acid has a synergy with calcium, right?

Yes for sure they are both heavily involved in plant structure building.

yea same here bro. im not loyal to any 1 line. infact i have a few items plucked from 5-6 different lines that i use lol
Don't we all? I mean after going through all of them, we find what works for us and stick to it. Just with an eye out for new things and an open mind. That's how I improve. And sharing with fellow growers helps a lot!

I also use a few other products such as Recharge, Photosyntesis C, and Mammoth P. I recommend all 3 and don't be afraid to mix them up. They work great together. NFTG combined with Aptus is incredible.

Could you go more into depth what all those things do, and like a few of your own recipes? I'm a nut for foliar feeding and try to feed something in that way atleast every 2 days. Just started mixing penetrator with a few things and lower dosage, including wet betty, and have good results

Recharge is my go to inoculant. It has both Mycorrhizae and fungi in incredible numbers. Blows Great White Shark out of the water, so to speak... Photosynthesis Plus is also a great product, as foliar since that what you're interested in. It allows the plant to capture and use radiant energy more efficiently by enhancing photosynthesis among other things. Works fantastic as foliar but I use it also in my mix every other feeding. Mammoth P is new to me, I must admit. But so far, nothing but good result. It has a specific microbe in there selectively bred for their ability to unlock phosphorus and micronutrients.
My base is NFTG, I love it because it is calcium based, and pre-digested with humic and fulvic acids, making it available to the plant for immediate uptake. Fasilitor from Aptus is a silicic acid that works great with calcium, making it even more available. Don't forget that calcium is immobile. It needs to be taken through the roots into the plant. I also use Bloom Khaos from NFTG combined with Herculean Harvest for yield. Warning! If you use Bloom Khaos don't use calcium nitrate! Only calcium phosphate. Your plants are not going to like the mix! HH is bone meal and digested. My additives are Aptus and there is nothing else to say other than they are the best at what they do... but again, this is my humble opinion and that what works for me. My nutrient line up is merely a guideline. I mostly listen to my plants and adjust accordingly.

My foliar recipe is as follows:
Bloom Khaos (calcium facilitator) I use it also in the root zone with HH 3.1 ratio
Aphrodite (carbs)
Hygiea (wetting agent)
Photo C (photosynthesis) also quantum Growth (I alternate the both)
Pure Protein Dry (amino acids)
Pristine bud organic (fungus and mold)
Liquid predator organic (pests)

here is the one i use and its great man. i also add extreme gardening's mykos. this combo is awesome bc of all the N-P-k-Si fixing and solubizing bacteria. i looked at recharge before but never tried it. i also use grow mores bio-cozym. also instead of hygeia i use grow mores ezwetSE which is 90% yucca sapiones just bc its cheaper and basically the same thing. its got pesticide capabilities on soft shell insects.

Hey! Great info sir! I will give it a shot for sure. Never tried Xtreme Gardening before, but I hear good things on IG. I already use bio cozyme and I love it. I use Hygiea because it's easier to use with the rest of the line... But I only use it as foliar I don't have problems in my soil. Thanks man!

So I got the free sample of this product.

If it wasn't in this thread that I posted I'm sure it was one about the outrageous price of this product. I broke it down & it works out to about 3x more than Armor Si.

I was neither for, nor against the product. If you want to pay that money, that's your deal.

But I did say that any company who is willing to give their product away, for people to try it for free, is really putting their neck on the line. So any time a company is doing that, they have my attention. Because the product has to be good, or they are just expediting their collapse.

But after trying the free sample, I will say this product is far superior to Armor Si. It's not even close. So, it may cost about 3x as much (depending on how much you buy) but it's about as effective as 3x as much Armor. It's really an amazing product.

I don't work for them, I haven't been paid by them, all I did was pay the $9 for the sample. But my reasoning holds true. They want you to try it, because after you use it....can I really go back to Armor?

That's really the big decision now...not the money I would have to spend for the OSA, but do I really want to do without it? How can I go back to a different product? It's good stuff.

so I bought your product (which was very expensive!! im a dumbass) as a stetch stopper per the advise of one grow store I frequent occasionally. he said ass 6ml/ 5 gal. I used this the day of flip on a gorilla glue. it did absolutely nothing as a stretch stopper and a waste of 100.00. my glue that was wateed with this is the same height as my other 7 glues that did not have this stuff added.

:insert the thumbs up sarcastic smiley here: and the middle finger to the grow store I bought this crap from.

Long time no see bud!

I've never heard of this being sold as a stretch stopper (I've never heard of anything being marketed for that, but I've also not been looking)

& I believe that is double the amount it says to use on the bottle, which is .6ml per gallon x 5 = 3ml per 5 gallon. I'm not defending the grow shop, or OSA if it's marketed as that. But do you notice a diff in the branch thickness/stability?

I have pics of the plants that were vegged on Armor vs OSA, & the difference is huge. Same cut, same diet....just different silica. Now all the buckets are plumbed together, & all on OSA, but if you want, I can show you the difference I saw. It's pretty drastic.

OSA, can you comment on the stretch thing? & Demontrich is a friend of mine on here, so I'd love to take his side. But all I can do is post pics & let people judge for themselves.

The only problem with the pics is that ALL the plants have been on OSA28 for over a week now....but you can still see the difference in the ones that were on OSA vs Armor. I hate to spend the $, but I don't think I can go back to Armor after seeing the difference.

@DemonTrich sorry bud. You are soil correct? Maybe it just rocks harder in hydro? I'll get you pics.

Incidentally, if it's a stretch stopper, it's not doing a good job. They are stretching like a Yoga instructor.
