What the hell... Gone for a day and there's a shitstorm of unread messages in here! Lol! Great to see some more people gathering here! Getting crowded in here I guess... So hello y'all! Hope you had a great weekend!
About the cooltube diy: I bought one of these very cheap and simple cooltubes on amazon but did some changes to it. Initially it had some kind of halfpipe reflector inside the tube and very small reflectors on the outside which I didn't like. Light-spread was like using a magnifiying glass when playing with the sun as a kid to start fires. Bundled to a single central point somehow. Didn't like that at all so I took the inside reflector out and added a bigger reflector on the outside. Now light-spread is much more even and it seems to do its job very well for now. The ducting is a bit too large but this way it sucks hot air from the box as well so it's kind of 2 in 1. Hehe. Massive drop in temperature indeed!... Cooltubes ftw if you're growing in a smaller space where heat may be a problem...

Some 6 inch ductung would be perfect for it brother. Thats the veryfirst kooltube i ever started with right there! Ive been lurking for awhile but wanted to wait till i had plants to bring to the conversation too. I honestly cant wait to let you guys see the ladies cause a couple are gonna go into flower tomarrow gsc are starting to alternate nodes.....theres a couple ccm pines small but very vibrant and they REEEK at 4 true nodes! Yeah im excited.

Ha, mine gets stupid hot and is deceptively heavy, it is like a block of lead. It came with a little handle as thick as a clothes hanger wire, yeah that just bent and fell off the first time I picked it up.
Before using it this spring i used to do arm curl workouts with my 600 magnetic ballast. Thats how heavy they are. Truly give new meaning to the term dead weight.

There are some pretty good diy tutorials for cool tubes and well...just about anything, over at icmag. They have a wealth of info, just isn't as pleasant to post there.

Wanted to throw up an update on my ChemDog.. She is doing great.. I raised the HPS yesterday and got her temp down alot so she is healing on the very top.. Can't believe I did that shit.. From the weight of flowers forming, her branches are really sagging because I didn't use any chicken fence or anything which I wish I would've but now I know.. Here's a couple pics

Quick question of the morning.. Some of her fan leafs just keep growing long and keep covering other flowers.. Should I just keep clipping the one's off that are covering the other flowers?

Can you just bend the leaves back or down? All kinds of opinions out there on trimming leaves. I would trim them off myself.

Edit: you could also tie your plant a bit to help the branches get to the light.

I choose to never clip fan leaves, i figure that leaf is feeding Something lol so unless it absolutley needed i dont clip em. Now i might clip ends of fans say like an inch or so. Just my opinion. Sugary lady ya got there.

Nice, yea I was just reading that the sugary leafs are great to leave on no matter the size.. I also seen the leafs have something called stomota and with the humidity they open and close throughout the day so you wanna leave as many leafs as you can on.. And it said like you both mentioned to try and tuck the leafs and at the very last option cut them

Ok so carbon dioxide enters leaf thru its pore (stomota) and as it travels through the leaf it on the other side brings out the sugary stuff throughout the day.. Very interesting.. Just learned something

What's up mate.. How would I go about stringing them together?

Just tie a loose loop around the stem with some twine. Make sure it isn't tight at all around the stem, that can kill the plant quickly. Then use that to gently pull the branch where it needs to go to get light and tape or tie it to the side of the pot. Sort of like lst.

Chilling on my couch, eating chocolate cookies and watching a documentary on netflix called 'The Culture High', while working on my laptop... so nothing special hehe... Went to the movies yesterday to see 'point break' in 3D. Man, I so loved that movie... :opps:

The orig was better imho. Back when gary busey was slightly sane lmao. Fucken jonny utah
Agreed, but I think it's two different worlds. Actually I always prefer 'older' movies because they have so much more charisma and athmosphere, deeper stories and personalities but if you're an adrenaline addict like me you just have to love the action shots in the newer one. The wingsuit-section was like: omg... Wanna do, wanna do,... and I always fall in love with impressive mountain- and landscapes so... I like both of'em :love2:
Ps: I was living in the Alps for a season so I always get a certain kind of home-sickness watching snowy mountains...

Really? My grandmother was born in alsace-lorraine. Never been but the alps are truly my top 3 bucket list. I was watching that old flick with clint eastwood the eiger sanction!

Lmao very nice.. I've never seen it but now I'll have to check it out.. Have any of you guys watched "Making a murderer" on Netflix?? Great documentary

I got to live in St Thomas for a year and that was awesome.. I'd love to the alps myself.. From my time in the military I got to travel through Europe and I really love it there, especially Ireland
