Since last visit 33 years ago New Zealand has had an Asian invasion
If you got 500 grand you get citizenship
Lots of issues like driving terrible drivers
One good thing was this dinner tonight
Thai food
Grilled New Zealand shrimp mussels squid in mild coconut curry on top of veggies

Wife had grilled shrimp way good

Off we go to Winton to spend time with our dear friends
That is the highlights of our trip
Kind of disappointed with the fish but have caught so manny in past and will catch many in future
Big storm devastated Fiji and today it's windy cooler
We were planning on a stop over on way home good thing we changed plans

This one is lamb the crust is spot on
The eggs are as good as our farm eggs
Super nice folks run the place real
Not phony kindness

My 60 th birthday present
This sweater is softer than the very finest cashmere
I will treasures this for the rest of my life
I purchased it from a small shop here in Winton
I am just amazed how wonderful folks are down here
Our hosts at our hotel are shouting our stay meaning were staying for free
We were drinking buddies and he too sobered up 30 years ago
It s like back in the 50s
Tomorrow we will get together for my birthday and go fishing with Lofty
They are bringing me some fresh raw cow milk
I am a milkaholic and their milk is by far the most wonderful I have ever had
I am so blessed to have reconnected with such amazing folks
