How many watts you running? and what lighting?
Idk the flow on yours but they are always way lower then the advertised flow rate. You might wanna wait till you know how much it flows before you dump the tank.
I think my 50gpd ro flowed 1gph. About half what it said. And I had really high water pressure.
I have 3 600 mh digital, also I will have to dump no matter what and start with a fresh rez. It can take all day to refill the rez if it needs to ( I was in a serious wreck and have a critical neck injury, so I'm not going back to work anytime soon, I can sit and watch it fill forever). I have another 40 gallon tub. I can empty some of my current rez into the tub and keep my plants on their flood and drain schedule using that tub while the rez refills with fresh ro.
Yea that was my point, Idk how long those babies go in ebb without water but I'd do like you said there and have her going while you fill up.
It has a 24 hour timer 15 min. increments. I've done reading saying do 3-4 floods during lights on only.
3 600 digital. Not the most expensive stuff on the mar but I figured it would get the ball rolling.
I will have to do some more reading into this, but every 6 hours sounds about correct.
