Probleems In Coco.

Hallo guys,

I have at the moment

5x purple wrack reserva privada seedlings
8x bubblegummer female seedlings
All is almost 2 weeks from sprout.
Water (start ec) is 0.4
I used to give just water and canna rhizotonic or plagron power roots thosefirst two weeks

First feed with canna start at 0.7 ec was yasterday


I check today and I found

You can put a bandaid on it with foliar application but its best to get it in the roots. I would add some more sensi to your feeds

If my starting water is 200 ppm / 0.4 ec how much cal mag should I add on regular basis?

What ur seeing happens to me all the time w seedlings. They're just hungry in general. I'm willing to bet if ya give em some veg nutes mixed to 650ppm total and 6.0ph that within 2 waterings they will be 100% better.

I didnt see purple stems and mag likes to bind to coco. I know someone that fed his coco very VERY sparingly and used flower nutes with great success.. @Srenots

650 ppm is not needed.... I'm in bloom now and 650 ppm is where I'm at, getting ready for a rinse in a week, I use straight water (good well water) that's 70 ppm and 7.0 PH, I ph down to 5.8 to 5.9, and that's it for seedlings, then after a month of veg I went to 200 PPM, then another month go to 450 at flip, then 650PPM now in bloom... no need for all those nutes when they are babies, hope this helps....(BTW, I only use bloom nutes from start to finish, CNS17 Bloom)

I should have mentioned that am dutch I live in holland so we dont have ns17 or whatever..

This is my thierd run in coco.

First run was pretty good and very satisfied..

Second was very nad had alot of deficiencys and after dry I found seeds in my crop!

This time I hope I get it right!! Or Ill change to soil, I have already bought 3 bags of light mix, if this def keept going on I think ill transplant to the soil..

To give my self all of the time I have got ride of all my bubblegummer seeds!

So now I have just my5 seedlings purple wreck which was very hard to find in seeds so I dont wanna screw this run up, hopefully. Plus one more Grand daddy purple a friend of me have just gived it to me...

I have devided those 5 seedlings into two groups.

The first group 2x PW
1 liter of RO water
Added 25ppm on 500scale silica blast
325ppm sensi cal mag plus
1ml of canna start which raise the ec to 0.9
Then I added 1 ml plagron zym plus 1 ml plagron power roots

And added 3 drops of ph+ which raised the ec in total to 1 ph 5.8

The second group

3xpw

1 liter of RO water
25ppm silica blast
225ppm cal mag
100ppm epsom salts
3 drops of ph plus
1ml plagron power roots
1ml plagron zym
Ec 1
Ph 5.8


I have also just transplanted them in my tent under 1x400w MH

what brand of coco are you using? I'm using Botanicare CocoGro in 2 gallon pots, 600 HPS.....I keep the PH at 5.8 to 5.9.....very little nutes and great results...

I use plagron coco which suppose to be the best coco in the EU

Guaranteed low ec and well buffered.

And I use plagron a&b as well

The grand daddy purple is in 11 liter pot it hasnt show sex yet, the pw is in 1 liter pot still.

Last run I had to travel for a week, I planted my seedlings for two weeks and lift

When I come back they had stretch, had red stems and they was hungry as f****k..

My first run I started with 1 ec after first week and it turn in good

I reach 2.0 ec by the end of the crop and it was owsome

This run all went okay till I add 0.3 canna start!!

This is hard to believe that this was the reason!

Canna advise to start with 0.7
Which I did and reach 1.2 then switch to normal a&b!

Thanks for your feed back all looks owsome except the part of leaving them hungry for a month in coco.

Maybe if am using cfl or something but for sure not my set up.

I can run up to 6x600w in my setup if I want to.

no, when they are seedlings they don't need to be fed is what I'm trying to say... try it , you will like it...

Becouse if you wanna have arm long buds they have to be pushed bro,every commercial grower I know go up to 2 ec. Very experienced growers can go up to 2.6 even.

I am not sayen I am an expert, am still learning.

Whish that I can do cocos one day right to reach its maximum capabilities man..

We dont have botanicare in here, this silica blast I found in spain when I orderd my PW Seeds, it was in discount for 15 euro and it was the only thing they carry from botanicare lool..
