Man I'm gutted. Not about the camera but about the dog. Hope he's good now. You can always get another camera.

Those photos are actually great. Always love to see some landscapes. Although you're breaking some rules, those are no less than great.

Thanks appreciated, my strength as a photographer lies in candid reportage, and I dont mean papping. I think I may bring a little bit of that to my landscape work! :)

PS yea gutting, he's my son! But He's all good now 2.5k later! :speechless: Thats about $100,000 if you're American! :cry:

I'm more of a nature guy and some portraiture. Also do some events but trying to keep it on the amateur side as I really don't have the time earning my money through the viewfinder. I ain't that good and I know it.

Now for a second time this evening (as you did earlier) Im gonna buck the trend of this thread and go as far as to say, you are a very good photographer! :)

I was involved in the music industry and there were many as good/better than myself, but at the time I just chose to ignore the competition cos otherwise Id constantly question my own ability......I simply immersed myself in it and before you could say something that you can say relatively quickly, a band I was working with unsigned, got a major record deal, their press man who was press for probably one of Britains biggest bands at the time moved in to the flat above me, at this time 3 more unsigned bands Id been working with as mates got major deals and I simply walked thru the door. I had a brilliant time and at the same time a shit time. Too much indulgence, too much of a cheating slut gf etc etc......Anyway in 2009 after a european tour with a global superstar who incidentally Im not a fan of, he may have sung a song at some ex royal family's members funeral! I came home near on had a nervous breakdown and said never again and sold all my kit moved out of London and headed for Wiltshire! that's a brief summary....Am I rambling? That'll be the cider...... Was growing pot for moi all the way through this! :)

So the moral of the story is FUCK WHAT ANYONE ELSE THINKS! :)

Firstly you made an error - you complimented another member of this thread. That is frowned upon.
Secondly - you let elton john bum you - that is not frowned upon but i hope you took precautions.

Incidentally the hair I removed couldnt be thrown, it was meticulously plugged in his head every single night!

Just realised, like a politician i avoided your first point so yea you're right, let me put this right now........So toastie pants, thanks for the kind words, but you're a shit photographer!.........
