hey durk, do you hit girls with a fine mist foliar spray on a daily basis? that'll help get the humidity up so they can transpire. at 45% rh the vpd is in the red above 70 degrees. if you're getting up to 80 degrees you want rh above 65% for girls to be able to breath and grow.
i have one of these and think it's well worth the money. makes life a bit easier.

and if your new ac unit has a button to dehumidify make sure it's turned off.
