I'm thinking more the fan leaves are shading large parts of the plant am I better off snipping the fan leaves out and end up with lots of little bud or go for the big colas. Horizontally it's big colas all the way but vertically I'm unsure.

I only have ~25w/sqft which is taking the piss low not sure how big a cola I can get at that low level. I tried a 600w the other day but temps were 36c and it's not actually that hot yet so I think the 400w is the only choice at the moment unfortunately.

Have you thought about of just tucking the leaves underneath a branch/out the way etc instead of chopping them off?

May just have to pop 1 at a time or something n keep an eye on it etc, just want something to run alongside the Livers as always nice to have a selection lol
