Thanks for the very nice compliments. As you know, so much can happen but I am super happy with how things look. I will indeed ask questions, but you guys please jump in if you see me getting off track.
Right now I am off to get some steamed bone meal for immediate uptake and some fish bone meal that will take a couple of seasons to be used up. Still searching for the right mulch layer for the plants. Maybe straw? I want it to either be easy to rake off, or decompose into the soil over the winter.

A few of the plants have slowed down, especially a DF Original amnesia, so I decided to add a bit of nitro in the form of fish meal and a foliar of AG vegan. I also top dressed 2 cups of fish bone meal to start increasing phosphorus. Scratched it all in and watered.
I have lost a few lower limbs, always the plants without cages. They don't seem rotted, in fact the first one I tied up and she is growing fine. I think I knocked one of the killer kush while watering yesterday. Tied it up, we will see.
I found a source for shredded cedar for a mulch. I dread putting anything new into the garden that might bring new bugs, but I guess cedar is a good choice and it's gonna hit 100 today.

His wife answered the phone. I explained about our gate being tampered with and asked if she or hubby had seen anything suspicious. She is a very nice lady. She told me no.
I mentioned how someone is watching me, both times I leave for one day and someone tampers with the gate. I asked if her husband was upset at me for anything. She said no, we were fine.
There is no doubt in my mind he is doing it, but hasn't let his wife know about it.
Now I know she will mention it to him and he will have to lie or tell her the truth. I hope she puts him on time out.

how bout setting up one of those game cameras?/ we never leave the farm, not just the plants livestock as well never know always something..

Yes, I really have got to get a game cam. So many reasons. The one time I put a cheap game cam up it took picture of the ever changing shade from the trees so I gave up. I am sure I can figure out how to get it to work. Putting that on my short list, thanks.

Don't really know. Till this year crop was so meager that leaf eating insects weren't really the issue, lol.

I like your hat, The fire danger is super high here in Colorado as well. There has been no rain here now for close to ten days and none in the current forecast. I like the idea of some kind of security cameras for your situation. Sound like your gate is staying properly locked now. I would use a combo lock so it cannot be picked. Hope your weekend goes well with the Mrs.:)

SWEET SEEDS!!!! IM IN!!!!!, hey with your security problem is a dog an option?? Don't even gotta be a mean one. If he barks he's in!! Cameras an such are great but not if your not their. What does that do? Hey i got u on camera, that to me is when the drama would unfold. I'm the type that will hide out their for a day or two just to catch me a snoopin ass hole.my buddy has this sensor thing with a speaker on it. When set off light comes on an this LOID ASS ANNOYING VOICE keeps repeating "your tresspassing" really f'in loud. Even animals don't come by anymore, like a dog bark it's just to draw attention. By then I'm coming with the door greeter filled with bird shot.

We just lost our most awesome 140 lb Akita a couple of months ago. I have had one Akita after another for 30 years but I'm getting old to control another beast like Akita. Max knew you didn't chase deer and didn't alarm if cars drove by to neighbors farm, only when they turned onto my place. He was great, I have a solar motion light that shines into my bed room window if a car tries to sneak past, but I need more, for sure.
I really do have to post some of the crazy shit that has gone on here since we moved in. Peace

Hey @Orcaman, our forest hasn't burned in 30 years or so and is due, esp. With pine bark beetle after the drought. The king fire (100k acres) started just east of us and town. What an experience. I was getting a haircut when the hair lady took a call from her minister telling her that the news TV wanted to interview her.
She was confused, but I was thinking..it's cuz your house just burned down", I was right, bummer.

Good news is I fiddled with our wifi and I get wifi at the garden so I have music, info at my fingertips, a good life! A big buck with felt on his antlers chasing a doe ran by yesterday, fun to see.
I watered today, gave some poop soup to a couple of plants needing a wake up and started widening the "moats" around the plants that get the irrigation. Hoping to pull the roots out to keep up with the canopy. (Pull out away from the trunk, not out of the ground, lol)
