budding at a fast steady rate looking ok bit of heat damage and over feeding on tips of a few leaves but nothing to worry about, the tiny mothers milk showing no damage at all very dark green on ec 2.0

got her running on water only during the heatwave and slight overfeeding
will bring her to 1.4 ec in a couple of days

smelling typical haze, mostly pine bit of fuel and skunk too all merges into a nice inciting smell
the buds look quite skunky at this stage quite roundish buds

watering cans just for filling up the tank, drinking a fair bit 10 liter per day or half the tank volume
i do not use hosepipes any more haven't done for years, they are dangerous i forget and flood the place lol

was also getting a size reference compared to this one, i think its bigger than this kush x cheese
its more compact with colas anyway

i like his nerdy passion for his creation
its supposed to be potent, ill only run a few of them to start with as ill be running other haze types too it might turn into a jungle in my space

sounds great, i see he is still producing the strain i seen him post on another forum i forget which one
the seeds i have got 2012 on the packet hopefully ill get lucky
it does have the potential to be a good potent sativa dom with ssh and train wreck in there

Yeah I had my keeper which was maybe g13 leaning but my pal kept a ssh leaning lady that he ordered. Moral of the story - multiple keepers!

its pronounced "Bee aLe Zee bud", its a play on the name of the devil https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beelzebub
the guy who made the cross is dutch i did not know the dutch use the american pronunciation of z (zed)
i guess if not in this case it would not fit so well

i actually contacted that guy on another forum to complain about the second batch of seeds. I think they were fakes because you can see the breeder really takes pride in his work and has an old school ethic.He was really cool and posted me some more blz seeds but half of them got crushed in the post.

z is "zet" in dutch. B.L.Z. in dutch would be Bay Ell Zet. But acronym Blz would be bluhzzz. But then for names and abbreviations english is often used.

7 weeks 12/12 colas starting to flop over having to tie some of them up
colas starting to fill in the gaps too calyx look small does not look like it will foxtail,
resin has started to increase a fair bit too she produced resin early on as soon as buds were visible but this resin did not increase much until now, she has spent all her time building colas
i was a little worried at 6 weeks that it did not look like much resin was on the colas
with a plant that yields so much its a worry it might be poor quality, i took a sample at 6 weeks
and its ok its not hay lol quite a nice high and flavor at 6 weeks, typical haze, smell and taste
should be ready in 2-3 weeks

i think it just needs more time, its on ec 1.4 , ill let it drop from there it should finish on .6 to .8 in about 3 weeks
the calyx will swell a bit towards the end, but i dont think they will get that big, this plant just does not have that large calyx trait
not sure if ill ever run it again, if i do i would not let it go above 1.6
because its so big i let it go to 2.0 and it burned it a little bit, the mothers milk was ok though on 2.0

i do have a cutting, but im hoping to find something smaller and better quality haze type from jack o onesa or the blzbud, ill start those seeds in about a week or so

So i ask must be what 3 plants in there ?? i was more or less talking about 1 plant yield so there was some miss communication obviously

the little mothers milk has been removed
you can see just one plant not 3 plants as you speculated

NFT systems are for smaller plants plain n simple

I showed some of your pics once in a dutch grow forum to show the opposite is the case since my own large nft plants didn't do the trick but it was futile... I honestly had the same misconception initially, based on the idea that the roots needed to be spread out too far to keep that layer thin. In practice things turned out very differently. Only reason I don't grow in nft at the moment is because it is not suitable for many small plants.

Dutch forums are filled wih hundreds of amnesia grows and they are all tiny compared to yours lol. Really nice job, it turns out pretty much like I expected, like a monster crop.

I don't think it has it in her to create large swollen calyxes either. Bud structure is clearly more haze-dom. I bet it smells strong especially on the fingers after touching it, the kind of smell that stays with you all day.

i have taken a nug at 7 weeks its pretty nice, it has a nice pine/fuel like smell in the room, the buds at this stage are smooth and typical haze smelling hints of different flavors coming though but overall mostly pine, leaves a smooth skunk like after taste its not sour or bitter i like it so far has hints of the incense smell in the room, its better than i thought it was going to be the resin is getting better all the time its white in places, ill give it another 2 weeks to build some more resin

the buds are filling in with lots of new calyx so its going to be that hairy kind of bud with lots of pistils
lots of small calyx packed together with little leaf, the bud structure is ok but i do prefer those larger calyx varieties myself

i think most folk are more familiar with the fence post type NFT setups which folk tend to grow smaller plants in
and are not aware if you give the plants more space to root out they will grow larger
and that also the roots will naturally form a rootmat and wick upwards, with 30% or so of the rootmass sitting directly in air

i have mostly been growing these og plants lately and even a few skunk crosses the last proper haze plant i grew was this angel heart years ago

You're spot on about this, after making a joint the smell lingers all day on the fingers
the pine fuel smell merges into a strong turpentine smell on my fingers
lures me to snap off another dry section of a test nug and make another joint lol
