You dont need to slow it down... you need to speed it up. Your wet/dry cycle should NOT be more than a week tops. When you speed up this wet/dry cycle you give the plants fresh water sooner which will pull fresh air to the roots faster. What is our air made up of the most?lol in other words nah son, I am the light, what u seek is fire!! Ha ha they look good, yes my evap is slower, I can drop it by laying down some weed fabric.

I never thought about it that way. Super cool. Thanks GT. :)
My thought @GreenHouser is that maybe you don't have enough fresh air circulation through the hoophouse. I know you have fans going in there but is it just recirculating the same air or is there fresh air moving through the house?
here where I'm at.... Water, we max out in super low 80's once in awhile but our humidity always thru the roof so it makes it way worse than say, Arizona. It's wet an heavy. I get your point An flower is approaching so I will be adding fabric to lower my humidityYou dont need to slow it down... you need to speed it up. Or lava rock, I am really liking that stuff! Superb drainage and I don't think it compacts over time like perlite does. JMHO :)In your next grow... mix a ton of perlite into your dirt.
