I am really excited about that bushy one. I have a lot of tops right at the same height. I know it is hard to tell now, but in a week it is gonna be noticeable, I guarantee ya. I am gonna go out on a limb and say that it produces as much as the other 2 autos do, combined. I have not done much to the others and nothing to the runt. We will get to see how much difference the training made. The photo isn't in this conversation. This is just about the autos...

As for the photo, here is what I think. I have been over-watering it prob due to the fact that I am used to feeding in the grow bags and they breathe air where the 1/2 gallon sq plastic pot doesn't. Easy enough to find out if I am right just by letting it dry out for awhile. I think I needed to change my thinking process when I changed to the plastic pot on watering frequency.

yeah we are pretty famous here in Cali for growing cali specific cannabis
the strain I am running right now is actually a Cali cultivar
Platinum Girl Scout Cookies x Blue Dream
I am from SoCal but now live on the Central Coast
as for the Flood and Drain
with bags they may get build up but also the roots will go crazy out of the fabric and you will end up with a tray of roots....which is perfectly fine
and you may want to run an enzyme such as hygrozyme or cannazym or sensizym.....so that the enzymes will actually break down the salt waste into usable ions for the plant....to keep you salt free......

as for the photo plant....I def see N toxicity....I can see the newer leaves under the top node clawing down and that plant s real dark......def back off on the feed mixture
I dont lke 3 parts because I dont like doing the math to see where my ratios are....
here is a suggestion for you that has been used by thousands with great success with gh 3 part
head formula/lucas formula
http://lucasformula.com
many people use this from seedling to harvest
I would suggest using the seedling formula and with the coco I would suggest using the head @ lightest dose possible.....or stick to the ratio but with however many ml's you want

Lucas works. That's one if the first ratios I used. Then went to floranova boom start to finish. Really don't know why I stopped.

@Wisher619 here's some new growth... It's not pretty. What's it look like to you. Just running base nutes.

Yep when I am old and my kids ask me, where you learn to grow so good, I will be able to reply,,,( Cali son,,, Cali.......) I mean not everybody gets a teacher from Cali! Right lol! Now when I get my game down, I will have to grow some of them famous Cali strains.

I have read about the lucas formula, and the only reason I hadn't done it, was I didn't want the Micro to go to waste. But I deff don't like having to mix 3 things plus calmag. I will read more on it tonight. So far I haven't did anything. I haven't seen them yet since I left for my shopping spree. We have a store here that has used donated housing supplies and I picked up a 430 gph pump for $5... I know it is overkill for what I need, but $5 I couldn't pass it up. If it is too powerful, I think I will wire a rheostat into it to power it down.

It is just so hard to know the first time what your ppm is gonna turn out. I make up a gallon and end up with 900 ppm, and have to toss and figure out to try to use same mix formula but at a lower ml so that ppm comes out around where you want it. Esp since I buy dh water at the store. Water bill a week, is at least $10.. I saw some water filters at the used store but I couldn't tell if they was just filtered or ro water filters... And to be honest I don't really understand the damn difference..... I really need to understand water filtration a little better.

Well I got my some misc stuff to build me a flood table, so I am gonna get to tweakin g on this build. I let you know how crazy it looks when I get it built :)

you are purpling out like you are flushing.....lack of nutes or a lockout ....either way I would say P and and N

literally flushing....I see in the bottom right the is a full purple leaf
pic up top look familiar
when there arent enough of any one element the plant will scavange from itself to put where it needs it most
if you are using mills you need to up the strength and make sure its ph range

She must just be a hungry Bitch huh? I'll bump her up, so used to sensitive autos.

Right on bro, I'll bump her up. I'm at 1.0 I'll take to 1.5

Did a change. She's at 739 ppm we'll see how she reacts.

here is a little deal about ppm and the sort
....not all ppm are the same
what I mean by that is.....some company's you need say 1000ppm on the .5 scale to give your plants to right amount of nutrients where as other company's you may only need 500.....it also depends on the strain and the growing method
as for lucas formula...it's not the micro but the grow that will go to waste.....but it dosent have to be like that......you can do what you have been with the 1-1-1 till you need to up and then flip to lucas....also I would half it....just as long as you keep the ratio...which is what matters in this case
so with lucas you will always add the same amount of epsom salt.no cal mag for head...the only difference is the consentration of the micro and bloom
recipe for coco
6ml/gal micro
9ml/gal bloom
1g/gal epsom salt

that should be good
that is exactly about where I run for my photos....almost always....1.5.....1.8/1.9 full bloom
back down to 1.5 then 1.0 then .5/flush with just pure blend tea
works like a charm

You're the shit homie. About the only guy that I'll listen to without fact checking.

Got a question, my buddy has a 5x5 tent. He has a 1kw hid but temps get into the 90s with it. With the 600 its about 10℉ cooler. What would you run? The 1kw or 600

well depends on the footprint of the plants
so if he is filling the entire space you would really have to use the 1k
but....if he dosent use the entire space but concentrates his grow space to say a 3x3 which will still net great
then I would def go with the 600
also if he is running a sealed hood I would go with a 6" fan should be good but if not....8"...
if he is running a carbon filter...well gets complicated but sure fire would be 8" fan
if he is running passive intake then I would run some insulated tube hooked to the passive....to a cooler area
also
#1....run the light @ night always

Yea he runs at night, has cool tube and 6" everything. He's pumping in ac, that blows on a bucket of water for humidity. He lives in a very hot climate.

that is crazy.......ac should be helping out.....but because its a tent....it has to many leaks probably to contain the ac

ppm in .5 scale for pepper plants
Image

ppm .5 res for cannabis

He's got negative pressure on the tent.
