well I know there hot as Las Vegas weather, other than that I know nothing, I was just gifted a 600 watt hps mh that was used for one day an his misses went balistic cause it was to hot ha ha so I get it, I guess I need to learn about the difference of the two bulbs an the height recommendation, I know this not the thread, but this one of only two places im at so... An thanks..

i have a 400 just like that one,,yes that fucker gets hot,,all i got so i use it,,but heat it does have,,my cool tube dont put out as much light,but no heat at all from it,,most folk like open hoods and it does give better results,,but im more into saving on keeping that heat out and not working the shit out of ac to cool it,,i dont like that hood at all ,but i use that one by my exhaust fan and filter and my cool tube at end of run exhuast going out

great for winter,,i ran 2 400 watt,one cool tube other just like yours,,my room stayed 75 ,lights on get around 50 lights off when it warmed up mid day outside,be in 60's lights off,,works great just not best choice for summer growing,,i shut down this summer because wasnt gonna invest in more shit or deal with heat,last year was a bitch

We hardly used any oil last winter bc the heat from the 6 lights we had going. Just put the furnace fan on and spread the heat around. Worked great! :D

I don't have a clue about anything indoor, outdoor I dare say I can grow most anything within reason, but indoor is a whole different ball of wax an it's harder Imo, or maybe jus for me. Anything indoor I read or watched online.
