So I have 5 gallon in my res right now with a ppm of 279. I want to raise it to 500 ppm. I have 4 gallons of more water that I want to add. So I am gonna do the math. And here is my other question, if I only add 1.5/2 per gallon which is what 279/500 would be, then isnt that new 4 gallons off. I think that what your saying is only when I top the res off. When I added just water up to the mark, i took away my chances at bringing the nutes up. So my new 4 gallon should be just made at say 75% which is 4.5/7 x 4 gallon? Is that right

what I would do is just keep the same nutes that you had before as they didnt really eat but drank....so I would just go with what you had before...
make that 100% for right now and let them feed..... if that makes sense

I started with 372ppm which 50ppm was the ro water itself, And it was 5 gallons.

So you say just add 3/4.5/1 x 4 gallon and just add it to the water already in there?

so now how many gallons do you have....is it back to 5 gallons?
if so then you take
279/372 which = 75% which means you are missing 25% so you will add 25% of each product from the ratio so say 1.5 micro x5 gallons is 7.5 ml

Bam! Now do I add the calimag to the res, and mix, then add the micro and mix, then the bloom and mix? I just didn't think you could mix nutes in solution already made?
