got it bookmarked bro,,i do love soil everything about it,,gt sent me a link to do soil compaction test,,i just have no way to do what they do for the test,,im trying to get away from perlite and shit like that,,forest dont have it,,and im going to try and find a stage 3 log in the woods for that
use wood chips mate, fresh or decayed dont matter, sure they go acid when you rot them, but you got chalk and shit for that. I find adding Gyspsum helps break compaction, then just ram in the biology with plenty of good compost teas, once a month say. Important thing once you dig in gypsum, you will need to plant it or cover it asap. If you aint got a target crop, use a cover like rye and clover, something low so you can just move it to one side and plant when ready, keep plants in the land, its the only way to save the carbon

very interesting indeed,,i will be checking this link out,,i cant seem to get my closet dialed in ,,missing something,,thought about a even distribution of outside air coming in,,got 2 450 cfm fans and filters,,was thinking turning one around and pulling outside air in and other pulling out,,so extreme heat wouldnt screw them up,,just a idea,,seems my shit always get dry leaves about 2 weeks in,,could be right here in front of my face with this link you just sent
I run an intake mate, but like you say in summer, its an arse. I try to find the darkest, coldest spot and put it there, this has the added benefit of trucking in low laying CO2 which helps cope with higher heat. You have to filter that shit tho bro. You might drag in all manner of spores otherwise

do you think hooking my 6in filter blowing into it would work instead of normal sucking in and out exhaust

yeah I filter in line too buddy, I filter in and out. I got a 6 coming in and 8 going out, both have filters, the intake has a hepa guard over the tile vent and under that activated sheets of carbon, I found adding the can to the intake caused my fan to lose intake power, so not putting enough in resulting in too much negative pressure. I swapped the idea for the square sheets of HEPA and Carbon, you can buy silver ones too now. These are the base materials before they cut up and added to say humidifiers or conditioners. You buy them in rolls or sheets really cheap on ebay or other. I just cut them to size to fit in my tile vents, so any air passing from outside first passes these filters while they remove the debris etc. I have a catch all carbon filer, single sheet on the end of the intake also just to make sure no little bits fly in to the room. The out has a standard 8inch high output carbon filter can, this is in the room of course, the fan is not, the fan resides in the roof space to reduce heat and electrical/ mechanical components in the actual plant space that may need attention when the lights are out.

cool i was gonna buy a roll of the stuff that the pre filter is made of and zip tie inside ,inside filter,,you take them apart there is a inner filter both side then the charcaol ,to make sure i was gonna take that white pre fiter shit and layer around and slowly dump charcaol back in ,that way outside air would filter going threw charcaol

bingo mate, thats the one, these sheets are just carbon but hammered in to sheets and not granules but same effect, reduce smells and organics

well i cleaned that coconut core with a torch used it 3 months i guess and still working fine,,only issue i see is when it starts to clog,,we can tell when something wrong in normal room ,,the heat rise and sound quites a bit,,interesting to find out if same applies pushing air threw it

yeah I see no reason why not bro, a drop in efficiency is noticed by the human ear it might just change tone a bit

you probally dont realize what folk think of your suggestions,,but ima tell you i aprove of it all and rely on it a times,,thanks my brother,,speeking of are yall still doing the program for the school kids
yes mate, we are hoping to upscale lesson surrounding carbon cycles with active biological systems and active carbon recycling with plants and microbes, so the kids can see the carbon cycle happening. We will be teaching them how to measure soil carbon quality so this is real shit man. way i see it, its too late for long lost purple trains, its the kids that need to know this stuff, its them we are fucking up now with todays practices. We will show them the power of biology by growing plants that go in to the school food system but that we can use the practical nature to explain the theory of cycles and nature ergo science maths and english, physics, chemistry all from a single garden :-) its teaching with aesthetics, something industrial education for bit parts of a colonial PC cant reach :-)

great i was hoping so,,they need to no how to survive and it all starts there,,glad your country has it,,here some fucking idiot would try to get rich sueing someone over the idea alone,,wont be long now and usa be just like mexico corrupt goverment forcing folk to seek better things,,that is the worst country i been to,,iraq was cleaner than that place,,just fucking nasty dust pretty much and skaird pheasents,,only thing i can think off the allow the drug lords to run there country and do nothing about it,,mass in numbers will prevail any gun any day,,sure some will die ,but so will they,,looking at that country ,i would die for that belief myself, lmao

local futures mate, I aint waiting, we can only fix whats in our range as I see it. Sure we can gte together to fix the global issues but we need local futures to be strong enough to implement the global fixes anyway

yeah we can see the damage but we dont stop, the one in Mexico is bad, but trust me, there is a pool of dead sea off every coastline anywhere and everywhere on planet earth, Nitrates and Phosphates are destroying us bro, but we have microbes that can help us get the balance back i hope, unless they run riot and fuck us all up LOL

thanks, its one of my babies. I know all kids learn about the carbon cycle etc, but how many of us remember, and now we have years of further observation and records that show reductions in soil carbons while we have rises in free carbon in the air samples we take.
nothing is lost, merely transported, usually in to someone elses back yard, where it shouldnt be. I think kids can understand this. Adults are still getting out of the head space whwre they could quit a job at 10am and have a new one by lunch time, and there were endless fish in the oceans and plenty of green leaves to eat. When these folks pass, it will be the greatest ever return of carbon humankind has ever witnessed. :-)
