You did nothing special to treat the weirdness, just let them outgrow it? Like I said, I've only ever seen this on seed starts, and only the past two years in fact. Wait... no, three.

You have done the right thing, is something in the wonderful breeding, I have seen this before and slaved with Sea's advice it looked good to 2nd week of flower and it made leaves that I wish I had picture. Then it just died

I have seen mutants from(in specific order and all seeds I popped, just breeders, too maany strains to list): DJ Short, OG Raskal, Sensi, THSeeds, DNA, Bay Exclusives, Homegrown Natural Wonders, Exotic, CannaVenture, Bodhi, Seeds of Compassion, Alphakronik, Red Eye, Garden A Blaze, Gage Green, TGA and a few other I am sure I am forgetting. Not every one of those breeders had multiple mutants, but some of them had seriously high rates, some over 25%.

There are a few mutations(leaf) that we do grow out, webfoot, odd verigation, and some simple odd leaf shape mutations. OGKB is a serious mutant but feels the love.

Its def a genetic mutant...seen this w my buddies cherry cream pie......exotic gear has mutants fer sure
The ones I saw it on were a Cherry Pie cross. Don't want to say anything more, but I was surprised at the number of mutants I found in that batch of seeds. I think I did mention that each one turned out to be male.

I believe that a portion of the problem some see growing is the over breeding in the seeds. This is the cause of the newer growers having problems. The breeders blow it off as inexperienced growers. This I believe is caused from making auto flower. They are freeks of nature and because some feel is where the growing community wants.
I stop buying seeds from the super breeders because the are not interested in making it better.
They are here for the bucks and only the bucks(mostly the dutch)they take short cuts to put the newest super name on the market. They do the most damage on there way to a bank and don't long term test to see if there genetic wonder has a hidden trate.
Most of this is caused by one magazine and in the end the very people who helped get it legal will destroy it. They say is to better the market but is all about advertisement and how much money dose it make the share holders.

I had this happen with my packs of the ox i got twins and a ton of crinkles and like sea said most crinkles were males and a pain to gro worst pack crack of the year i attribute this to geans just not vibing or from being like 20 way pollies

Once a long time ago I tried to change the taste of some crappy weed. Sealed it in an air tight contained and let 50 lbs of Dry Ice push itself thru the weed took 2 days. I don't have words to describe the buzz but I never did it again.
My woman sorted out the seed and grew them 90% male and the leaves were to the point even my friends had hard time telling it was weed. They kinda sorta flowered and were mixed with some old Mexican Gold those seeds grew into the very best weed I have ever grown but never reproduced a viable seed.

Ill say it...it was cherry cream pie. My buddy grew some ccp and had a bunch of mutants...the leaves looked like dandelion leaves......but i will say he had found a real nice keeper too....

When I first saw it I thought I'd screwed up the soil mix somehow, so I immediately got some other beans popped, but didn't have any other soil so I used the same stuff. Perfectly normal, got my ladies. My tendency is to assume I've done something wrong to cause the problems I may be observing, but this one I don't think I caused, I think it's genetic or epigenetic or.. you know, it's not Maybelline, they were born with it.
