well over here we got some basic ones, without the water systems fitted, but we have thermal walls on the north facing side and we have all the window vents etc.
The biggest cost was the plastic, since they only sold this in bulk and we had to buy a roll at 900 euros but it is better than the plastic windows we used, these cant handle more then 2 years in the cold, the wrap system is still going strong.
The timber costs was about 400 euros for a 3.5m dome thats the height of the ones I use in the garden, the work ones are much bigger. Alan knows the full costings mate, I just use them :) In plastic, eg not the heat wrap, the cost per unit was about 800 euros I think he said, but then we had to build it ourselves and we made mistakes first time which we dont now. We got a dude can knock them up quickly and cheaply now, thats the good thing about Esti, lots of skilled wood workers and timber.
They sell for stupid money bro, if you can make one, you can save a rack of cash and who knows if you are good, make them to sell on locally. They are awesome for high wind and low temps, they work well in the heat, the shape of them is conducive to a really great environment. If there was anything better, do you think the eden project would have used that and not a bio dome to preserve all plant life in a massive dome in the UK

The one limiting factor with the domes is the height restriction though but it cant be beat with floor space. I love the geo domes though and will definitly build one for my garden at some point. Maybe dig the floor down a few feet like I will do with the gothic arch one to add that extra loft.

im thinking reneck geothermal setup,,im likeing how the set these new subdivisions up all store heat to a main unit,,and then they all use it during cold months,,seems crazy,,but take a snake or anything that hybrinate all winter,,they use the heat from core of earth to stay warm

Bury 250' of black poly tube water line in a pile of straw and let it compost down. Pretty sure you could get heat through the winter from that, not roasting but may raise your temps up 20-30 degrees.

microbes mate :-) I just go in every now and again to check they dont need a drink :-) or that they aint going jenna, I know 80% of the tent is gravy, but 20% is brand newbian, I dont know the breeder, dont know anyone that does, so I will run with it and see some, I think the dudes are spanish/ dutch but who knows.

yeah its cheap and easy to set up digester systems too if you have enough bio mass, then you can tap for methane etc, use this for heating gas :-)

I always find it interesting that in this tent, plants lean away from a 600W HPS towards a light source much further away that is actually a daylight 315W CDM. Constantly seeing this phototropism in action, leads me to think if you are still growing with HPS, (eg I need to swap this HPS lamp out asap) then you are using inferior technology. Sorry, but the plants dont lie. Why else would they turn to face the light if it wasnt the source they most preferred? Any ideas welcome?

yes, the daylight is closer to the light i associate with clean light, now I know I aint a plant, but its rare to see the orange light anywhere but in a room where a sodium lamp is working LOL. We do get that orange, red, purple light about an hour before sundown, but the rest of the day its more like the light from the daylight lamp, whiter, bluer and cleaner, less fuzzy if you feel me. I know our green power HPS lamps are good, but they are still spiky in the blue

Derp... i meant chlorophyll a and b not photosystems. Hps hits A great but doesnt touch B at all.
