Finally she gets all 600 watts which is what she has been asking for :)

The other one has been put in cold dark lock down for 48 hrs.... 62 degrees.. 46% rh. Complete darkness and no water... we will chop her and hang her whole wed... She can dry a couple days like that.. then remove fan leaves, and go another day. Then clip to individuals branches and throw in box.... I can see a difference a little on the stuff in jars.

takng all those fans away lessens her transperation and she dosnt have enough energy to grow much more top
so now she will put her energy into growing roots and slowly grow her branches out
when her branches are big enough to provide significant growth her roots will have filled the cup....time for a transplant and topping
then 2 more weeks of veg
then flower
all while her top is rooting....just in case she is a badass or a male

skunk number 1 went in jars this morning. I opened them up for about 30 mins and then shut them again for the night. weighed it. 60.5 grams.. But Im sure I will lose some more weight. if I get 50g off of that, Im pretty stoked. hell if I get 30 grams off that , I ought to get 120 g off of skunk 3 :)

I think I better just relax and wait and see when its finally dried and cured. by the way the branch that I cut off skunk 2 5 days ago went in jar too.. weighed 15.1g when it went in the jar.. when do they lose most of thier weight? How much can I expect to lose after they go in jars?

That makes a lot of sense... What do you got about 7 nodes there? You didnt do nothing but just let them grow so far untill today when you gave her a haircut. None of that crazy lsting that I did 4 nodes in... I kinda got carried away a little huh? Well on my behalf I figured they were autos and only chance i had was to get a lot of tops as i could as quick as i could.

Well here is day 16. I would of thought they would be bigger, but I imagine every first grow ppl feel that way. Guess I should be happy I haven't killed them yet! I think if we make it thru the night then I will feel a lot better... I gave first real feeding with 2 ml of cal-mag, 3/4 ml of superthrive, 3/4 ml of rapidstart, and 2ml of micro, grow, and flower to 1 gallon distilled water split between 2 girls in 3 gallon fabric grow pots.They don't grow much so prob ony post pics once a week till their is something to show. I just didn't want anyone to think I was a one and done type a fella :)

I now have a plant that is as big as this and its only 7 days old. This plant was 16 days old when i took it.. I think I am getting better :)

So I did a little experimenting. .. I took the 2 lil plants I have. A 7 day old photo delicious candy in solo cup, with coco, and a 1' layer of hydroten underneath it with about 4 holes for drainage. The Mt Dew bottle is set up the same way with a very stunted auto. But instead of killing him off, I am gonna learn from him, with his short life cycle. Anyway I took both of them and stuck them in some Tupperware, with an air stone, ph 5.8 and 85 ppm. Covered it all up with wash clothes that stop the light but allow air flow. Is this stupid, or is it a simple little hydro set up that I can watch water level and ppm fluctuation, to position myself to use this single Power grower rdwc unit I have.

the runt was 20 days old here.. she came a long way!

they loose about 70% weight drying.....they might loose 5-10% more than where it is at in the jar.....when you open the jar....feel the flower....if it is a little squishy.....let them dry until it is a little crisp again then back to the jar

once you get to the point where it is dry and sits in the jar for a couple days and you pull it back out and it has remained dry....then you can now leave it n the jar for 2 weeks.....in that tme do not pop the lid
take some out of each jar at this time so you have smoke
then in 2 weeks ....pop the jars open and take a deep sniff.....then give her a whirl in the ild peace pipe and see what a difference a cure makes

I like that! It's so hard for me to decide on how I want to grow... So many different techniques. I think the hardest one for me is,,, the leave it the fxxk alone technique. So I think I am gonna let them grow a little and learn from the plants a little... About the 7th node I will make a decision. ..

However I want to use my scrog net so I can get it out my system so we gonna scrog this 2 month old photo. I have been continuing my main line... It's real bush and about 2" tall. She is gonna be a beast brother. All 600w slamming her after stretch of course :)...

I am eager for that day. Because frankly I can't accept putting out nothing that doesn't compare or exceed the hydro on the streets. And I don't live in Cali... Are weed is probably subpar to start with... So I have to improve. No if ands or butts. No more equipment. I need to get my room dialed in and start working at getting my VPD in the right parameters. I think that and that alone will do more for my garden than anything else. I have been studying it since you mentioned it. That and maintaining Temps and rh between lights on and lights off. Those our the areas that I am trying to improve.

dont get to caught up on the old VPD
reading and following the charts .......to me......is a waste of time
VPD holds true for all plants but the charts written are for leafy greens (salad)
I just use observation
if my leaves are standing tall then I am in range and take note of all RH/Temp/Media Moisture
when the droop....I take note of that to
So I know what range to be in.....

but to me those charts are full of shit
take my Afghani plants....if you go to the weather chanel and look at the parameters in the area while they would be vegging or flowering....it is like 90f and 40% RH with little to no water
how do they survive?.....how do they grow?

for my GSC cut
it is a hybrid....created in a controled enviroment
so parameters would be standard....72 degrees 55-65 RH
and the plant does well

All the seedlings are doing goid, but the bag seeds are balls to the wall! The heat and humidity is having no effect on them compared to some of the other strains. I pretty thrilled!
Clones went in coco/perlite and a bottom layer of hydroton. 2.5/2.5/2.5 calmag 1ml. All 4 has good roots... winged them off the dome starting 2 days ago. Humidity is 82% down there anyway...

so what you will do is.....put her in and run veg under the net for about 1 week....spread her out under the net and during that week....tuck and weave her through the net
continue till about 2 weeks into flower....giving you a total of 3 weeks scrogging.....then leave her alone
