Toaster was saying it was just a lame excuse, which is crazy because nobody has to make any excuses, I don't expect anyone to give me anything, if somebody wants to and can then that's fantastic and I appreciate it but, nobody's obligated to help me out at all. Just don't say anything, or say you'd like to, but can't, or just tell me to fuck off, whatever, there's no need to make shit up.

I understand how you feel, completely, entirely, totally. Asking for help is one of the most difficult things in the world to do.

Now, I *do* have FB, would you mind if I shared your GoFundMe in one or more of my canna-groups?

Here's a swimming pool hand rail , do you think you could adapt to what u need?
It will need flanges welded on to it. And cut to your needs of course.
I have 2 of them and a couple other pieces you could use.
Let me now before I try to pay for shipping.

Wait, there are canna-groups on facebook??? I rarely use it myself, I had no idea.

I will call the folks who have the van and see the status....
Keep fingers crossed they do not need..
It has been sitting since it was donated and if available will be free.
Pretty sure it was running when donated. it has a lift for wheelchair access..really a nice van....

Ok,like I said you would need to cut and resend to your needs.
That's cool ,I will go ahead and tape/package up the other 2 from my bathroom and start getting them shipped up there.

Ok, I'm not gonna carry on and on, I've gotten awful long-winded lately. I find myself in desperate need of a power chair among other things so, I set up this fund so I can join the ranks of the beggars. :banghead: lol

How much is the power chair you are eyeballing? Gas or electric? Street, off-road or enduro power chair? I hope you can get what you want. There are some cool electric mobility scooters around. I'll keep an eye out.

Hey Papa, I think you did what is needed for you and do not feel bad for asking. I am sorry I could not help with the funds, but we are from the same state and a couple hrs apart, but would help if you needed it elsewhere. Right now I can get away with a cane myself, but know I will have your same needs later.

I found this web site that has free or deeply discounted used items. It is a place for people to sell or donate used or new items from family member that no longer need them. I hope this helps you. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help otherwise. I am close to outdoor harvest and if you need some meds. let me know.

Van update..
Talking it over with the owners...
They are dirt poor....
I proposed if they cannot re gift then how about a reasonable purchase???
She is wheelchair bound, her husband is out of work...
I do not think if they decide to sell it would not be much..
I am going there today or tomorrow brining canna oil, and farm goodies this gal suffers leg spasms her legs slam together and it causes bruises. on the scale she says that is a 10 her pain is 8 after just a small taste of oil her symptoms are reduced to 0 on the spasms and 3 on pain and she can sleep way better...
I will take some pics and take a look at the van....
Still will have to get it up to you but lets cross that bridge when it happens.....

Yes, including a group for the old timers from the old Overgrow. I also belong to one that's following all the bans and cultivation ordinances that have come about post-MMRSA, and I admin one that's just a silly group.

@chickenman Idea/suggestion, there are lots of folk here from many states. If the van is viable, maybe do a relay drive with farmers from states across the country west to east. If they are willing to assist, that would be one heck of a tribute to the wonderful, helpful, caring farmers that make this community what it is. We would have to include a mascot as well, so each driver takes a picture of each state or some info about themselves with the mascot. lol Have a thread on it's travels, lol

Keep us posted, you and your wife are awesome people, I would love to meet one day. :)

Van was used by our friend Ronnie
He was a big fella
His wife Christina is a tiny gal
It was amazing how she took care of Ronnie for so many years
Ronnie said whatever it took to keep him alive do so
I cannot Imagine how he could carry on in his condition of constant pain
He was on fentanol and lots of other pain meds along with other meds
We had to hold joint if pipe for him to hit as he shook pretty much constant
We gave her handfuls of buds for him and he was so greatful for the relief it provided
He slowly slipped away and one night Christina knew it was time
She layed by his side and he peacefully went over the rainbow with her by his side pretty well medicated
It was so hard for me to see him suffering on visits
Christina and I discussed this after he passed and she said he understood about all that
All respect to those who are enduring such issues
For us healthy folks do not take it for granite
Rejoice and be grateful and try to be helpful even in the small ways
to help those less blessed

Yeah, some things have changed with my boy, he's still doing the same kind of work but, doesn't have the same easy access to tools and equipment so, it wouldn't be as easy for me to do something with it. I appreciate the offer to ship them though bro.

I was fortunate enough to have a power chair given to me by a family member the day after I posted that campaign and my Aunt offered to buy me a new recliner which she did today actually. We went and checked some out and ordered one, which is why I lowered my goal the other day. We still have lots of work needing to be done around here for my sorry ass though. lmao
On a less serious note, I would love to have some cool off-road chair that would go anywhere, that would be awesome!

If she is in a wheelchair herself I don't really understand why they wouldn't want to keep the wheelchair accessible van they had given to them?
I definitely have need of one I just don't know about coming up with funds to purchase.
