I've just had a look and it does come with a bulb but it's not a Phillips it's a gavita pro what ever lol but the bulbs alone are £130 so your right mate £200 is a bargain I had a look earlier and in the local shop there £450 for the exact same thing

hey manc,have you seen the gavita with the large reflector,covers like 4x6 ir something.my mates selling em in a kit with the specific tent.light spread was exact,right around the 4 corners.best light spread I've seen.

Wtf I've just been looking for the last hour for a tent lol I'm guna get the shit together to do a sealed room and see what these yanks are banging on about. The only tents I can find are just short of 5 ton for a 1.8w x 1.1d x 2.4 h. How much does your guy do his for if it's worth it I'm in. but at them prices I will just build my own I've been in the building trade since I left school and I'm also a fully qualified spark so its no biggie really it will just save me a ton of time. And what are these reflectors can u post me a link ?

dont forget to change the hood annually mate. Gavita are pretty good about it, but those fuckers wear out fast man. I know most people keep reflectors etc forever, this is of course bad practice since they lose effectiveness overtime, I swap all mine out every 18months max, you'd be surprised how much light you lose by not changing them frequently ;-)

benefit of building your own is you get to do things not possible with a tent, not least hang wall fans, increase sound proofing and insulation, add stupid shit like your UE boom speakers so you can jam while you grow. You can easily mount ballasts, sockets, and any tech that might need interaction outside because you will design it. Not just buy it and then go ah shit, I have to put my ballasts on the floor next to the leaky tap.....this fucking tent...LOL.

interested... What goes bad on a metal reflector? Does the finish dull? Heat manipulate somehow?

sorry,crashed out...gavitas are all 400v tech...manc,I'm computer illiterate mate.plz don't ask me to do a link...no shit,ask Houser,he once put music on 4 me...anyway ill pop to craigs shop,me pal,gotta go see about them clone tubes for postal anyways.so ill get the price and see if he can find a link for ya mate.have you not seen them gavitas with the big reflector?I originally thought they were for a 4x4 but that tent is a bit bigger mate.spread is cool.you can see the line were the light is same level right around.
