Yes it is a 2x2x5 in the upper chamber.
I can help you with almost any Q's about a 2x2x5 tent.

As far as pots go I've been working on it since #1.

Started with (5) 2 gallon pots.

Then I went to (4) 2 gallons.

Next I'm going (4) 3 gallons

Then I found a 15 gallon pot that would fit within the footprint of the tent. Just needs some trimming.

It would be the largest soil capacity total so far.

I also considered a (9) 1 gallon pots setup too.

Any more questions you got I've got the answers I swear lol.

I even got a drip tray that's a perfect fit "22×"22

Got a few more items in the mail.
One of the most important not to be missing in any grow. The intake filter.
20161207 212922

It is the same filter on my main tent. Works great and is only around $32.

The tent has a "6 exhaust and intake port.
So the intake side of the tent will have a "6 flange on the tent, "6 duct to ceiling double flange, the opposing side of flange inside the wall will connect to next duct run, this run connects to the double flange the intake filter hooks to.

I have to do it this way to get the filter hidden above the ceiling tile. Space is cramped. But a "6 duct and filter oughta reduce the resistance added from the bends. Allowing the "4 inline to pull adequate airflow.

The exhaust of the tent will be a "4×"8 carbon filter inside connected to a 4" duct connected to the inline, then from the inline to a flange on the furnace duct/central heating.

Will draw from the house then contribute heat back to the house.

The fresh air vent INSIDE The closet will keep the furnace supplied with o2 along with keeping the closet cool. So having a separate circuit for the tent removes a lot of engineering headache.

Since this tent will be around 300 watts total setup I got a single outlet kill a watt meter.

It will plug in the wall. The extension cord will plug into it. Then the cord will run to a surge protecror/splitter where items get plugged in.

I am getting a 12g outdoor cord rated over what I need just to be safe.

I need to get one of those kil a watt deals. Is that a car intake!

Yes it is. I have the same one on my main tent. It is a giant filter with a "6 flange (God knows what vehicle needs a "6 intake lmao).

It retains its airflow well as it becomes dirty. It is reusable and easy to clean.

Best of all it was $32. Whereas most hepa filters with the label grow associated run about $80.

It works so well and saves me money I got a 2nd for my other tent.

Idk if you saw mine.....cardboard box, duct tape and a HEPA filter :shockedninja:

The kill a watt meter is great.
It shows you actual current draw. As well as cumulative electrical use over your grow. So you can calculate the cost of each grow based on kwhr.

You can use it to test manufacturers claims. For example my 8 bulb t5 says max input 192watts but pulls 160. I'm sure on a hotter day it would pull more.

Just make sure to funnel the whole grow through it if you don't have too much electricity.

My main tent has the kill a watt power strip/surge protector. It's beast too.

My grows avg $50 each so far.

Hey whatever works bro.
As long as you have an intake filter I'm proud. A lot don't.

But to install this filter on your tent you would only need 1 "6 flange, the filter, and a "6 hose clamp.
Maybe in the future it can be your upgrade (if you want) it would add a restriction to the incoming air potentially helping you hold heat inside.

Actually I still have real good negative pressure with mine. Any more and I think the tent would implode lol

I'm pretty sure #4 seedling (the runt) is a male. Under 60x magnification they look like little balls on sticks.

I will wait until they show more fully to decide.

But so far it's looking like 1-2 possible females this next round. Maybe 0 if I'm unlucky.

I actually wouldn't mind 1-2 ladies.
I could bush the crap outta them.

If it was only 1 I could test out my bigger pots. I probably won't get there until round 5 though.

Time for some pics. As last time taken after lights off and two 2700k led bulbs left on.

I still don't see any amber trich's at all.
And there are still a good amount of clear trich's.

Buds are still fattening up.
Buds are still becoming frosty.
Many hairs are brown.
Many leaves are yellow.

Do I really just wait for trich's only?
Week 9 end is this Friday.
Do I really have to go to 10 weeks?
Any opinions guys.
I feel the hps light doesn't mature the trichomes as fast as the mh did.

This current week (9) I am already on 11/13.

that's all ultimate chem 08 f2,I always assume on 50% males,so hopefully we'll get 14 and 14.
@Ecompost,what's your opinion on sex of seeds?dictated by enviornment?dictated by seed shape?diet?
there's a number of theories out there.I'm running all these with less N and more PK testing the diet theory.next round I will go heavy on the N with the same seeds.
Maybe after that I'll pull 25 seeds with convex butts and 25 with concave butts and test that theory
I remember years ago before the days of fem the guys at sensi seeds reckon that they had a 90% female rate but these Dutch guys all think they have to hold these secrets like the coca cola recipe I remember the same guys having a tantrum about trademark and weed world and red eye had to pull all there mags from the shops. I would love to know really why that fire had happend at cannabis castle

Let seedling #4 have 1 more night and this morning all 3 branches & nodes had male pre-flowers.

So it got pulled along with its matching clone
Here is the root zone.

He was loving life.

But I shredded his root ball back into my soil bucket.
20161208 173027

I mixed it all up by hand thoroughly.

Then I dumped 2 cups of my aerated nutrient tea in the top spread out as much as possible. Then mixed soil thoroughly again.

Once done and the soil moisture was even. I used my spray bottle to mist the top layer before I put the lid on. This would raise humidity as well as soak into the soil.

I've been slowly trying to reuse soil.
This will be the first real attempt.
I have been letting fan leaves I trimmed off dry up sometimes. Then I turn Them to dust back in the soil. I'm now adding roots and used soil this week. As well as just now adding the microbial aerated nutrient tea.

I have the 2 males I pulled in pieces in the fridge waiting to be eaten. Gonna make a smoothie stems, branches, roots and all.

Don't worry I washed all the dirt off.

The past few months I've been looking into silicone slab containers. So when I get heavy into oil production for myself. I'll have a better form of storage than parchment paper. While retaining the amazing non stick properties of silicone.

Been looking into prices and sizes.
And you all know me I want best value.

So the 7"x7" is the largest size without getting into industrial/commercial silicone tubs/cases.
S l400
S l400 1

For months the cheapest I've seen for one was $48 which I thought was a bit high.

I keep looking all the time and today a seller had them for $29 +free shipping.

So I snagged me-self a green one.

Just figured I'd share the value like usual guys!
