Hello all. Just drop a myco bomb in Motos room. Stay warm!

Great source of info, one of the best I have seen

A Complete How-To: On-farm AM fungus inoculum production

Quick and easy guide to AM fungus inoculum

yes, dont forget if you cant check, you wont know....
Evidence from recent molecular studies, however, indicates that cryptic species with higher levels of host specificity than previously realized will increase the number of known AM fungi (Selosse et al., 2006; Smith and Read, 2008). More than 6000 species, mostly of mushroom-forming basidiomycetes, form ectomycorrhizae with about 10% of all plant families. Greater host specificity usually occurs in the ectomycorrhizal fungus–plant associations than in AM associations (Smith and Read, 2008). Vast parts of the world remain to be sampled (Mueller et al., 2007), and it is expected that barriers to interbreeding have led to high genetic diversity among these fungi (Petersen and Hughes, 2007)

So I posted this in a thread last week but not sure how many of you all venture around the site and checked it out but I find this very interesting and helped me bridge some of the understanding of plants. I didn't say it wasnt a mind fuck though.
Antagonistic nutrients have a negative effect on the uptake of other nutrients. Possibly you have seen that an excess of Phosphorus (P) creates an imbalance with Iron (Fe) and Zinc (Zn)?

Some nutrients do the opposite and their presence has a positive effect on the uptake of other nutrients. These are called Stimulant Nutrients and an example of this is would be when increasing the nitrogen (N) availability to the plant, it will allow the plant to take in more magnesium (Mg) and up the demand for it. To show this we have the Mulder Chart.

So this chart shows how an excess in Potassium can help free up Mn and Fe but it decreases the availability of Ca, Mg, P, B and N and potentially give you deficiencies as a result even though it is still present in the soil.

Her name is peekachu lol but wasn't name after Pokémon. Actually named after an Indian doll my wife had a while ago. She's 8 yes old now.

Geppetto and Peekachu look great buddy and your plants. :D Good seeing you as always..

You ain't got to lie we know it's from Pokemon. LOL :ninja::smoking:

bang on mate, getting ones head around this is worth time, its a great post and people should understand it if they can, if not ask questions.
The problem ultimately is, if we change one thing, we must change many. A def of K means a def of Fe, and many other metals. Proteins, such as FRO are dependent on certain elements being present, such as K, and so it is that we have these that support, or those that hinder. If we lose metals, eg sidephores, we are more likely to get problems from pathogens, science fact!
Understanding what each element is + or - and its rate of mobility is also worth understanding, eg how much energy is needed, does it work better in the warm, or under cooler conditions or? as are the various methods plants use to get water and nutrients in to themselves. Understanding what elements require what energy to be moved is a good thing, since this can alter the way you feed you plants, esp those of you with 2 part systems
Again understanding soil nutrient relationships is worth time and so do have a quick read over the data here
http://www.ctahr.hawaii.edu/mauisoil/c_relationship.aspx
We must also consider the plants themselves, for example, a C3 plant requires far less calcium than a C4 and some C4 prefer Mn over Mg and vice versa.

growing with active biology takes the guess work out of this puzzle, none of us speak plant, all of us are guessing our plants need x y or z to eat. Also, noting the ways plants move nutrients in to themselves, we can see that soils rich in biology, can mass the right elements our plants need, right where they are needed and just in time. No synthetic systems can match this efficiency and that is science fact!

The younger of the two Mrs. Petrone is throwing some early rails on the leafs and praying to the roof. YAAAAAAAAAAA BOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII Show me them white lines!!!!!!! :D

20161215 193530

The older Mrs. Sweller is stacking out nicely and has a little more time until harvest. The grow has been smooth and the last feeding they received was Bio-Floret with Bio-Hydrate and Bio Balance Foliar. =)

20161215 193325

Little underskirt shot of the old broad and her greasy self. Lovely Fruit Punch Smells coming from her. MMMMM MMMMM Going to get some Cool Aide for this smoke. :D

20161215 193302

These are working girls and of course some random Janky leaf trying to photobomb. LOL :D

Hope everyone's gardens are well

White Blaze
Better Organix

Mrs White Blazer is definitely throwing huge long solar panel fan leaves and she is currently the wind burn plant. She takes the blunt of the wind from closest fan, but she likes some abuse. LOL

20161215 193001

White Blaze was average stretch and was hoping for a little more, but none the less the is doing great. =)

20161215 193138

Full body shot of her currently and some of her buds. :D The two plants directly behind her are the two Fruit Punch Girls.

20161215 193022

Little closer shot of some buds on her. :D A little bit of a chemical smell so far from her cannot wait to see her in final form. LMAO

20161215 193118

Can't forget some lower bud shots. :)
