Hello fellow farmers!

I am looking to expand my seed vault and wanted to get the valuable opinions here at the farm. What do you consider some must have seed stock? What are your favorite beans youve popped in the past few years and why?

Every different breeder has their strain or strains that are good.

Just browse different breeders online and check their origins and the strains that made them. You'll find gold in many breeders.

Humboldt seed Organization "Blue Dream"
T.h. seeds "The Hog"
Serious Seeds "White Russian"
Brothers Grimm "C99"
DJ Short "Blueberry"
TGA "jilly Bean", "The Flav", (any of his cup winners)
Mr nice seeds "Black Widow" (the real white widow)

Just poke around and see what each breeder has to offer. They usually have at least 1 signature strain.

Personally I think anything exotic genetix related will exceed your expectations everytime.

Given my situation, room size constraints, etc., I tend to stick with fems and one that was a real standout was the Cataract Kush from DNA Genetics, LA Confidential x OG Kush.
I've mentioned this one a few times when people are asking about strains, that killer LA Con flavor seems to shine through every time and it kicks your ass with a devastating, dick-in-the-dirt stone. It's been well over a year since either my cousin or I have had any around and last I knew people were still talking about it/asking about it. I picked up another pack awhile back myself, got to get around to popping a couple at some point.
Not a big hype, flavor of the week strain but, from what I've seen it's a good, solid strain that's worth a try.

Yeah thats a nice main, i bet she trains well.
That was at a time when I was starting to let everything go untopped so, I didn't try any with it but, I'm sure it would train well. Going untopped it would stay pretty much within the diameter of the #3 pots I grew them in and yield really well doing so, a trait I rather liked. You could fill a space as tight as you could pack the pots and they wouldn't be overcrowded.

I really don't know why I haven't started some more of these and some other stuff I have too, for some reason it's taking me a long time to get around to starting some of the stuff I was looking forward to most a while back.

There's always the temptation to try the new stuff for me haha.
