There are a lot of people these days that like to talk shit about the "name brand" breeders and fem seeds as well, but I grew nothing but fems for the longest time and never had problems and it makes things a lot easier for a guy like me. I've had great luck with DNA and Dinafem, couple others too but, I'm bad on the memory sometimes and it's been awhile since I bought from the seed banks where I'd get that stuff.

It's funny, I've seen tons of talk about getting herms from reg seeds and yet, it's these same people talking shit about fems a lot of times and they'll talk shit about people like DNA and Dinafem and swear by some dude pumping shit out of his basement and calling his chucks "breeding" and getting a bunch of herms, then they'll say that getting herms is just a part of the game these days.

Even though I'm not a breeder I still know enough to know that a true breeder can work to breed out undesirable traits, they just have to put the work in. Too many guys for awhile now that have been too eager to cash in on the new gold rush to be bothered with putting in the work it requires to put out a quality product.

Don't get me wrong, I know there are a lot of new/newer breeders/seed companies out there putting out quality work but, there are some real shitheads taking advantage too. I'll never be ready to accept that "herms are just part of the game now". Fuck that. They get chopped and tossed in this house, every time. Unless of course I miss it until it's over and find it when I'm harvesting, lol.

I gotta agree. I had 3 DNA strains herm on me last grow but I know it was my errors that caused them. Holy grail kush, r.k.s(which also threw late flower nanners up top as well), and cannalope haze. The last 2 were freebies but I only popped one of each. I had a faulty ph pen, light leaks and it was my first run. I'd love to run more holy grail kush in the future. Shit I got tons of beans from that run, guess I'm a breeder too lol.

Nah you are just preaching thats why i started making my own seed if i wanna grow out untested work i can just make my own lol ive been eyeing some dna gear for a while

I'd have to call it a toss up between a Kandy Kush from Reserva Privada and a White Widow from Dinafem. If I had to choose I'd probably give the Kandy the slight edge though.
Pissed me off though, that Kandy was soooo fucking sweet, made me buy a couple packs during a time when I could only buy 2 or 3 packs at a time to keep going and not fucking ONE of those beans was ANYTHING near to comparing to that freebie.
Definitely HATE when that happens. And like a freakin' turd I wasn't cloning anything back then either so, only had that first one the one time, I'd still be running that one I think.

Heres a couple pretty good size RP Kosher Kush Buds. 36 grams for 1, and 25 for the other. Got 20 Oz from 1 plant in a 20 gallon container, with Promix BX x 1000w Hortilux HPS.. Dry of course.

This is from my buddy who has the Swami, Hazeman stuff going right now. We discontinued the KK as not strong enough. It was good, but not what were looking for.

Like I said, me and this guy have been on/off partners since the 80s, and we're looking for the original Nevils NL5/Hz, and the 88 NL1/HP, and we've seemingly found it, in the Swami/Coastal.

It could be though, with the rep of the Blue Orca, that the NL%/Hz, BO Cross may beat it.

Ive also been growing since 1972, and 1976 for Inside. I remember when they came out with the 1st commercial 1000w halide bulb from High Times. It was a 1000w HID they used in Navy subs to grow food, was very fragile, and they wouldn't guarantee it vs shipping. After a few months they came out with the Supernova, and Octogarden.

Ive seen a lot of good weed, and the NL5/Hz x NL1/Hashplant, was special.

Ive ran Kosher Kush from DNA as well awhile back. You might have to buy 2 to 3 packs but "the one" will more than likely be in there in the whole lot. You will know when you find it too. Same with Sins Og from Sin City. Most in a couple packs (30 seeds or so) will be average to meh. But you might get that one thays just...well...you will know when you do. Whatever's is tucked away in the Jew Gold / Kosher shit..wow. Some true top shelf herbs. Not kidding either. Satans Cheerleader shit.

I've been a fan of the Cataract Kush from DNA for a long time, even the average phenos are pretty decent from what I've seen, and a nice one I had a few years back was really nice. I have a couple started now, gives me a chance to test it further. Been a long time since I've run any, I had a just few beans that I've been hanging onto for awhile, decide it was time for some.

There is a few growers in my town passing around a Cataract Kush cut believe it or not. Ive been running it and a few others. Obviously from DNA of course but this particular one is sonething else. Went over a buddys the other day and he said "check this out". I told him I got it too.And he said the growers are passing it around. There all fairly uniform in a DNA pack but this cut I only know its just a little more loud and frosty and just absolutley floors the most tolerant of stoner. Yields average to good. Shes not small like an og and not a big producer. Top amd tie down for a bush. The only drawback is shes a damn near full blown Indy and shes a slow vegger at first. Takes awhile until she hits her stride. Its because shes just builds super thick branches and stems. She needs no staking. Her structure she can handle on her own. Silicates are not needed. Iam gonna run her for awhile. I got a wheelchair patient and an amputee that will practically smoke nothing else.
