Boy I sure hope things pick up here, I miss hearing from Peeps.. And today, the last of the Relentless Seed Cherry Cookie. A resin magnet she was. Hate to see her go. I'm shooting some bubble macros this week, hope to have those up for you guys soon. Happy Holidays..

Pahly I'm using many differing sources of light. The ring light did not work as well as some. I have a Einstein flash and two 100 watt daylight bulbs doing the best. As for these today, Bubble Hash macros, still perfecting this technique friends...the lighting needs work.

Do you make your own bubble hash doobie? There's a technique out there if I remember correctly ;) to get the trichome heads to separate from the stems. Making a cleaner product and I would imagine some killer photos

@Seamaiden thanks for being here for me. @GrowGod yes this is from bubble I was making. I have a three bag set I use. But I do stir with an electric drill, slowly but possibly not gentle enough. I am going to try a very small batch with gentle hand stirring for pics. Some of those ^ ^ shots were bubble pulled apart to reveal the inside. I press it hard so they are a jumbled mess of goo. Cheers..more soon...

Here are some better images of the stuff, yes i'm doing the bubble. I think the key to getting better images of it will be a slower gentle hand mix, I'm using a drill for these. Enjoy....

Let me get back to you I think it maybe a post wash trick to separate the heads. But it looks amazing regardless congrats! If you ever need a tester I know a guy :smoking:

Something new today. This is Doobies' Midnight Blackberry. Midnight Blackberry=Gooey Breeders’ Midnight Snow x Relentless seed Blackberry Rose. Or to be a little more specific:
Midnight Snow= (midnight snow x Sat dom Pure Gooey) by Gooey Breeder
Blackberry Rose= (Blackberry Kush x Black Rose) by Relentless Seed.
Only plant ever grown out of this cross. Enjoy and Happy New years friends...

Here's what I'm using for Facebook and the photos come out real nice. But seem crunched down to much on thc farmer

Thanks Vapor..here is some of the most resin covered cannabis I've evr photographed. A mountain High Seed strain Jolly Bud I grew out a couple years ago, she made some nice crosses. Enjoy..DD

@Seamaiden happy new years..@incogneato she was something Sir. @GrowGod I size all my images for FB and all the forums to longest side 12 inches, at 72dpi and saved for web in Photoshop which degrades them a little too. I hope this helps. I think Stax is the worst forum for mushing up ones images. You might be better off re-sizing them before uploading as that's where they get smished.

This is seed development that made the above girl. This is the Midnight Snow mother seed, who was mated with the Relentless Blackberry Rose. My cross in the above post was mated with a Seeds of Compassion Pink Biscuit= (Pink Lemonade x Gorilla Biscuit)..enjoy....DD

First off that is the most awesome seed pic I have ever seen! It's as if she's giving birth!
Ok I will give your demension's a try.
Do you preffer photoshop over Lightroom? If so what's your opinion on the pros/cons for cannabis art?

@GrowGod I have used Photoshop for years and years, us old timers have a hard time changing so when Lightroom came out I purchased but do not like it! The file structure sucks, you have to import all your images, I like to open files from different drives at different times, their program makes that difficult.

I use Elements 11 now but have many other goodies. Their pay prescription for the new programs sucks too. I buy the software I don't want a monthly bill for the rest of my life.

As in these shots, I rarely use anything other than a little lighting adjustment and slight amount of sharpening. Over sharpened images are common nowadays. If you capture the shot right not much is needed after that.

Here is my Midnight Blackberry the first plant images ever. Not truly macros but I didn't want to throw her in my Summer 2016 thread so...enjoy...
