remember...your plants usually won't show for a few days to a week and then it will be to late......
I have never even seen an ec of 3 when growing greenhouse Tomatoes ....I would really try to bring it down to a manageable level ....something that won't break the bank...like say 1.8-2.0 ec
Thanks man info is always best im new to all this

3 EC... JUST A LIL BURN JUST ABOUT RIGHT...
was the final words echoed as the brown liquid disappeared in to the blood stream as the life escaped him in final breaths......
Will be what we say over them tomatoes we don't lower it a lil..... :)
I gave my plant 4 Ec... well it built that high due to high temps, 4 day vacation, and low water level... they survived but at a serious expense of flavor, taste, and YIELD.

I seem to roll with the punches pretty well... The last time I got a Lil mad at myself was quite a few moons ago.. was adding GH 3 part and when I got to the pink bloom, I added pH down... it a hurry... 30 or 60 ml... can't remember. . Just changed res after going to Kroger and buying 10 gal of RO. ...
10PM back to Kroger for 10 more gal...
Lol remember that wish?

Need some quick advice for coco users, right now I'm at day 15 flower plants leafs look healthy so far no signs of deficiency yet but I started to notice salt build up a week ago at the bottom of of the pot where the the water drains and roots turned brown and died out so I started using slf100 every feed to break it down and nothing.. I'm using ro/soft - @ 1300 ppm 2xs a day in 2 gal pots til runoff, any opinions on what I'm I doing wrong ?

drop your feed ec if you are hitting them with multiple feeds
if your are using fabric pots.....it happens
you can also flush once every 2 weeks
just run pure RO @ 3x the pot size and then let the coco dry to about 50%
the reup the feed

I'm using 1ml of calmag(100ppm) 10grams of ro/soft per gal & 2.5 ml of slf100 which gives me 1300ppm ph around 6.0-6.2 I'm using 1000 watts DE bulbs with 8foot ceilings should I drop it down to the 800's?
Room temp 78-80 night temp 70-73 RH 55-60% nutrient water temp is at room temp... No co2..

How much ec should I be at? I've noticed I'm going through way too much nutes & it's getting kinda pricey... And do I ph the ro water when I do? So for 2 gal should k pour 1-1.5 gallons per?

you should be running 5g per gal max
and maybe keep you lights 36" from canopy
No Calmg needed
VB has 10% Ca
I would just rock 5g VB

that enzyme could be messin with your plants as well causing odd hormonal imbalance as direction state for flushing only basically not for running it constant
dont worry about salt buildup
if you are feeding till runoff you are fine

Sorry brother I had to put my 8 hrs in today so 8 couldn't get back to you.. I would follow Wisher as he can explain what you need to do AND he can explain why you need to do it. He understands the science, where a lot of us, really just understand the growth cycle and we emulate it as best as we can every time. Not that we don't learn more over time but knowledge doesn't come over night.. so with that said, ditto to everything he said...
They ask me how smart I am......
I respond,, " Smart enough to know smart people"

10g per gal is high and if you're feeding that twice a day, I don't think it would be good for the plants. I have never went more than 5g per gal either. I will run 4g per gal while in veg and then switch to 5g per gal after 1 week into flower. Where did you get your directions to feed at 10g per gal?
