I think the way I understand the controller is look at them as a bunch of individual plugs. And those plugs are activated by whatever trigger is beside it.

So if humidity gets below your setting it will switch on the humidity output switch and whatever you have plugged in there turns on. And once it reaches the level you set it turns off. I'm sure it's a bit more complicated than that but that's how I wrapped my head around it. So I guess technically you could have a demudifier plugged into the humidity output and it would run perpetually :cry:

bitches are 3 weeks old.. Not bad for 3 weeks. I always have a runt. Im not for sure if we gonna pull thru.. Im gonna up the feed tho because they are starting to lighten up. I think the secret to rapid growth is turning up the heat... You say what????? LOl
But listen,,, the reason that is not gonna work for most of us, is that we cant meet the plants requirements to sustain that level of intensity of photosystesis, (sp)? mainly c02. With raised heat you have a plant breathing hard like a runner, and that runner needs fluids with electrolytes, and the plant needs increased levels of c02, are the runner collapses of fatigue and so does the plant. Other areas such as lighting and nutrients need increased to to meet the demands of hotter temps... Raising the temp makes the plant work harder... with the right environment..

So i dont know if my lil watering escapade caused this or if i got something going on here. Almost looked like a ph issue but i set it at 5.8, 5.9,6.0, and then repeat every 3 days
so it must be a issue from the skipping a day watering.

That is the sour D cross mother in coco sipping... only plant showing anything, and also the only plant/pot that didnt really make it 2 days with out water in her bowl..

The reason she is the only one that dried out, is because i my ratio of hydroton to coco is higher than the others. This mix would be awesome with top feed, f+d, and i dare to say dwc even maybe... but a lil airy for sips (wick hydro ) method...

As for my other girls,,, just trucking along.. My runt isnt really getting better. I cant really tell if its gotton worse, but its still pushing. Its very weak at the wound. Been spraying for second day today with h202. Used a prop to stabilize the plant. Raised the ec to 1.3 as they were looking a lil pale faced.

As you can see the plants have lost some of thier shape as i started gently tying down my fan leaves,,, :):)
ok ok ok..... kidding...
But however i did start gently tucking them under the lower branch tops. I also gently starting squishing the main stem below the very top node. I started this 2 days ago and have some branches that have no found their way to the top to battle out the main for king branch of the hill...

its getting a little confusing!
So what is the difference in English between the hlg-600h-12B and
hlg-600h-54b, and how do i choose my cobs to go with this?

I may be wrong. I don't think that's the driver you want. Check out this page:



Then the last 4 numbers are the milliamperes the driver will run the cob at. Which will determine the wattage the cob outputs.

One thing I didn't grasp at first was:

Take the voltage of the cob (36v) and multiply it by the amps on the driver (HLG-185h-1050a in this case the amps are 1.05, there's also 1400a, 2100a etc)

36x1.05=37.8

Now you take that number and however many times you can divide it into the wattage of the driver (185 in this case, there's also 120,240,320 etc) is how many cobs you can fit.
185/37.8=4.89. Now you can technically fit 5 because it's close. I am not positive why that is, I still have much to learn.

If you had a Meanwell HLG-240h-2100a with 36v Cobs you would take 36x2.1 and get 75.6 and you can run up to 3 for a total of ~225w (3 36v Cobs at 2.1amps for ~75w a piece).

This is just the very basics, I hope it helps get you started and if I have a concept wrong please someone let me know.

Ahhhh... The 12b uses more cobs at a lower current to maximise efficincy, more up front costs...

So on the driver HLG-600H-2100B

That would be a dimmable (you'd need to add the dimmer) driver capable of 600Watts. It would run the LED COBs at 2.1Amps (or 2100 milliamps).

If you had 36V COBs they would produce ~75W a piece (36x2.1=~75). You could run 8 of them for a total of ~600w. I don't think that's the most efficient way to do it, but it would work.
