I like that! It's so hard for me to decide on how I want to grow... So many different techniques. I think the hardest one for me is,,, the leave it the fxxk alone technique. So I think I am gonna let them grow a little and learn from the plants a little... About the 7th node I will make a decision. ..

However I want to use my scrog net so I can get it out my system so we gonna scrog this 2 month old photo. I have been continuing my main line... It's real bush and about 2" tall. She is gonna be a beast brother. All 600w slamming her after stretch of course :)...

I so can't wait!!!

I am eager for that day. Because frankly I can't accept putting out nothing that doesn't compare or exceed the hydro on the streets. And I don't live in Cali... Are weed is probably subpar to start with... So I have to improve. No if ands or butts. No more equipment. I need to get my room dialed in and start working at getting my VPD in the right parameters. I think that and that alone will do more for my garden than anything else. I have been studying it since you mentioned it. That and maintaining Temps and rh between lights on and lights off. So I hope I put this in the right place. I figured I would detail my grow so I could get guidance as I fumble along thru this and give other nubes a chance to see what I do right and what I do wrong and what worked for me and what didn't! So today I am just setting it up and I will add to it once I am off work tonight. So are we ready to grow?????

So here is day 7 ... changed them from my 1 little t5 to my 600 MH at about 4 foot. Transplanted 2 of them into coco last night. ph the water to 5,8 with 1 drop of grow , micro, and bloom to 1/2 gallon of water and pre=soaked the coco before transplanting the cubes into it. I did not water the cubes or give any nutes as i wanted the coco wetter than the cubes with a tinge of nutes I also put a layer of clay pellets at the bottom of the solo cups. I also changed the light from 24 hrs of t5 to 18-6 of MH. I still have 1 cube than need either transplanted into a bigger cube or straight in my dwc... But it has been having a rough start since he popped out with a torn fist leaf. I think i may have over-watered the cubes. I got to learn damn patience! lol

Well just a couple pics from today. Put my photo in a 1/2 gallon sq pot while I wait for the 1 gallon to come in. Added some coco and then a layer a sand over all my pots. Other than than nothing different. Just feeding them twice a day, as soon as they wake up and 12 hrs later. Decided to do it twice a day because my humidity was dropping to 30%. These autos are 26 days. I think they even showed sex couple days later. My first grow compared to this round with autos. I say im at same growth day 17 compqared to day 26. Thats a week and i think thats worth feeling good about... That was a good start. germ-root-dwc-roots in the water... And if you want my opinion, THAT is the hard part, and the part that lays the foundation for your grow, including yield, esp with autos.. no transplanting stress, developing roots=more rapid veg growth=plant acclimates to higher ec quicker=more explosive growth,,, not to mention what co2 would do to that equation...

Trying to get a lil extra light on them new branches... Delicious candy 12 days old and rebounding from her transplant yesterday. And stunted skunk went in the bucket. Just ran air stone down in the bottom and raise the water level up to just cover the bottom roots. I cut the bottom 1" out the bottle and set it on about 2" from bottom of basket.

1. Down curling, tip burn, etc,,, will remain on the leaves affected, and all I can do is rectify problem that caused such manifestation, and it will correct new growth as long as I fixed deficiency/lockout/toxicity problem,
2. We are on the same page... I actually used a garbage bag, contractors grade I had laying around. I also insulated the reservoir with house insulation. Pic below. I do like the skirt idea and I have an idea for that :)
3. I am gonna look at the pump a lil closer and see what is going on. I am gonna make this pump work and will upgrade soon. Second installment of property taxes due in 3 weeks,,, So a rough month financially :(

bump.. my first hydro diy.. really made the coco fun! was cheap to build too. Taught me a lot!

man I spent that a week... No lie. Between 1k and 1200 a month. I'm a zip a week guy usually. And that can go way up lol. You'll see after you grow, you'll at least double your habit. I've seen guys quadruple...

Its so cool to go0 back and look at my first grow.. There was so much info in this thread! Its over a 100 pages... leds, systems,coco, you name it we talked about it,,, even bakers math! lol
This is where wish gave me the tools to be successful and to be where im at today. Im a long way from a great grower, but i got a good start and ive maximized my learning in the last 7 months...
Wisher shared a lot of info that i see newbies ask every day, in just this one thread. You could read this thread and be able to grow by the time you finished!!!

So this was my auto thread... so might as well post some Autos... Today is day 49 of 70....
3 weeks to go....
Home stretch. Today will be their first bloom nutes.
We will hammer home the bloom and the floralicious for 14 days then I will quit topping off with a vigorous flush with flora kleen for 72 hrs. .. Then 48 hrs darkness and only 1 inch of water in system...
And then we chop....
