I'm gonna run my next run with what I have left from my gh products...

One other question. Could I add flora micro and flow bloom to a gal of Ro water at 10x strength then add that to my system like it's fnb?

I wouldnt run those @10x and treat as FNB

the recipe would work in your flood table but I think it might not be so good in you system

I have a recipe for hydroponics I can give you
that makes a consentrate and you use it as an A and B

I tell u something else I need to do. I need to design a better way to drain my system... it doesn't get all out the buckets and at this point in flower I can't really move them around to use the wetvac very well...

880g Jacks hydro
580g Cal N
add each to there own seperate gallon of RO water
now use each at 10-12ml per gal that will get you between 650-800 ppm
always add Jacks first then Cal

your ph will probably fall to 5.4 so you might need a tiny bit of ph up

I don't understand additives. Or what I should say is worthy and what is snake oil, so I have avoided most. Just recently got floralicious. And just gave very first feeding of silica yesterday!
So I'm a virgin lol and easily deceived if I just took them at their word.

so floralicious is basically humic which helps nutrient uptake
alot of nutrients add that already but GH liked to seperate it so they can make more money
but a sugar add is good "sweetner"
something like Flora Nectar Sugar Cane will really make your plants smell and taste good

Well that sounds pretty good then. I might have to look in to that... do u feed that all thru growth or just during flower?

you can do both

I run mine only in flower just because I dont really need it in grow

I use botanicare sweet raw

people that use Canna use Boost
etc....
others use Mendocino Honey

basically it is sugar with Mg and S and citric acid

Silica, fnb, floralicious, floranectar...?? That order?

I haven't been running any hydrogaurd in system.
With cold floor and aquarium heater I'm always between 68 and 70.

So this is where the cool kids hang out. Sup! I saw this thread because I started a little auto journal. I've heard some pretty good things about jacks. Very affordable if I'm not mistaken. I thought about checking it out but I don't feel like my runs are big enough to warrant it so I'm gonna stick with v+b for now. Man it would be so cool to make that jacks hydro stock solution and have it connected to something that you can program the doses with.

I'm gonna work 4 hrs over today but I Holla at you about the Jacks hydro. I'm still up in the air mysrlf.. I lay out my pros and cons later...

V+B has dos now specifically made for the dosatron
look up the Jungle Boys
on there website they have a media section and a few videos
watch them

you will be pretty much blown away

I was with the fact that they live by the same grow technique as me
keep them in 6" entire life
top feed drain to waste
trim everything all the way up and leave just the top node when going into flower

the only thing I havnt been able to do yet is have healthy plants with V+B

so I popped more beans and they are gonna live their entire life on it
see where that takes us

Funny you mention that I was checking out jungle boys the other day and I was blown away hahaha. It's gotta work this time for yuh. I just got a 1lb tub of the HD to try out once my RO formula runs out.

Anyway as i was saying, i want to go to jacks because i want cheaper. But my concern is this. I see a lot of people have problems with nutes, and that includes jacks. When someone finally gets a nute dialed in, they really start to enjoy their grow. Trying to figure out what the hell is going on with a new nute line seems really extremely painful.
I am pretty dialed in with mine with confidence. And i haven't even used the additives till this grow and really just the last few weeks. So im hesitant to give up whats comfortable. But i will one day and prob sooner than later...
