Trump has an unreal loyalty from his followers that lacks all comprehension: it doesn't matter how gross the offense some people are simply following trump like a religion and if in fact he was nothing more than a long term Russian spy plan I imagine we may have some real civil unrest from these people and potentially a civil war.

Bulldog I didn't mean that Trump was a spy but a long term pawn in Putins game. You are mistakenly attempting to pigeon hole me as a democrat, I am not, nor do I look at politics as a sports game where I pick a team and remain loyal to the end, simply put that's not how I roll. Thing is I have studied Russia, I have two degrees one of which is in Political Science with a focus on International Relations; I have a paper that was written eight years ago that describes Putin perfectly today and his larger business interests. Here is my take on this: Putin wants to sell more oil/gas and working with the eu has stiffened his ability to control the pricing, therefore if a weaker Europe exists he is able to broker with 30 separate nations/accounts and get way more money at the end of the day. This coupled with his old KGB views and desire to strengthen Russia seems like more than enough motive to want Trump win. As for the details I can't wait to see them: I say whoever is treasonous should be treated as a traitor regardless of whom it is.

Your points are spot on. I see another side of Russia as well, and if you know Russia and it's chess pieces, then Aleksandr Dugin should be part of the equation as well. Restoring the third Roman empire?

This is all kind of a non point, as I don't see how that relates to Trump. Trump as far as I can tell, is American 100%. He might admire certain aspects of Putin, and how he pimp slapped Obama on occasion, but who could blame him for that. Point is, Russia is not using the President of the United States of America as a pawn. In the 80's, that was called red baiting, but then again, they were right........(not at the presidential level)

It seems to me that there are many issues with Russia and Trump, I can only fathom the financial entanglements and I am pretty sure nobody denies that Russians are amazing at gathering intel and manipulation tactics. Is this the eighties Cold War stuff? Absolutely not. I think it's a natural byproduct of the nation state, to remain at a constant struggle for the top of the mountain and little most won't do to get there and to stay there.

My point this entire thread as well. Instead of saying, "yea, but nothing happened when so and so did x y and z." Lets start fresh, and make our leaders follow the law.

Unless judges, senators, congressmen, the intelligence communities and potus are help accountable to the same "Rule of Law" "We the People" are measured by, there will be no jail time for any of the shmucks on the Hill. If you hadn't noticed the game is rigged so the elite can get away with just about anything.

War crimes abound worldwide and you wont see bush, or cheney, rumsfeld or any of the Hawks on the Hill or anyone else to answer for the atrocities our military commit all in the name of Democracy and the war on terror. Wars are fought for colonialism and to further the commerce of dominant nations. Sad but true. I challenge any 1 to name one war we have fought that was truly in defense of our safety. Other than WWII that is.

We have become hyper paranoid as a nation and the fear mongering will not stop because they know it works. It keeps most folks compliant and willing to give up whats left of their civil liberties to feel safer.

We are indeed in some very dangerous times. I wonder what kind of world my grand kids are going to grow up in.
