Btw i put it in a wet paper towel stuffed into an empty friskes cat food can. Left it on top of an open wing 400 mh and 8 hours later bang bang

After they rooted I put em in solo cups on Feb 9th. So today is day 30 in a solo for them.

That should be fine as long as you trim the roots when they grow through the holes

ok this sorta fits in here as im curious.. and i know you experience guys know the answer.. especially if you culled a few plants.. which im sure you pheno hunters have.

how long is the root system on this plant would you guess, 9 1/2 days old.
dry its 72grams, and right now she is at 99grams.. will have to water before bed it looks like. anyhow, any guess what the root would be like? i know at this age not to let them dry out yet.. but got me thinking about the root system.. sorta solo cup related..

im guessing half the size of the plant with a few hairs, like a carrot at this point.

Id say that root is already circling the bottom. Outdoors the root ball will be roughly the same size as the plant above ground.

how much longer ( days ) can i go before i can let her go dry then water? in your opinion?

I try not to let solo cups dry out because it doesnt take them long to dry completely and do damage. You can generally start feeding and normal watering after the cotyledons die off.

that helped a lot, i have a better idea now how to water the plants.
ill keep at least 20grams of moisture in the cup. ill water tonight.

in a solo cup if the top is any where dry the bottom is almost going to be bone if u put the slits or hole in the cup for water to get out LOTS of water
