No doubt. What would be the negative of keeping .2ec running in the Rez? Or what would draining the Rez do that would be beneficial and outweigh just running it in the system for a few days? Also, you are the man. Your advice has been invaluable to me. I just wouldn't want anyone not to chime in for fear of contradicting anyone else's advice. I know you wouldn't want that either. Love ya brother. Really. Wouldn't have made it this far without ya :D

It's week 4 for me in organic soil . I make my soil like I make my lights lol. I've been using all organic this this. I use to do both last year and now my plants grow like weeds lol

Nice mang. Love your vids. What type of delicious LED are they being run under and why you giving up on quantum boards??

Hey @mandalaman

I'm keeping track of what senescence looks like on my #3 plant in my thread.

It starts as leafs losing color, progressing to turning brown drying up and falling off.
Once the buds are looking naked it is like ripe fruit.

The gals have all swollen and frosted up all the way until the leaves are gone. I would not skimp on that weight & resin in my opinion.

So let's say this was your run. You've currently dropped the Rez to just a finisher and mammoth p. But. The caveat is you like the psychedelic soaring high as opposed to couch lock. I guess what I'm trying to say is WWRMD?

And how would that senescence translate to UC style from soil? Completely different rhizosphere activity and a completely dynamic medium surely have some sort of impact. No?

I personally like the psychedelic soaring high.

But I also like high efficiency and maximizing my yields.

More weight and higher potency means less to get me high and my harvest lasts longer.

That dried up tester of #3 the other day was not couch lock at all, rather still energetic but a relaxed mind experience with altered sound.

My personal opinion as well is that the cannabinoid profile is more complex at the end of a longer maturation period. Which gives you a more complex high.

The first beast testers I took were very speedy head high but short lived.

But now the testers are more exhilarating and long lasting, still super heady but less of the paranoid intensity.

Ok. I'm with you. That being established. What would you do?

The hydro side I'm inexperienced with.

But I would keep her going with a light feed rate and just watch her slowly consume herself (flush) . My light feed was bloom, micro, meta-k. Applied a couple times during flush the gals responded well the next days. Meant they were hungry deep in the cycle

Once you see the leaves drying up you'll know your there.

@mandalaman
there is nothing wrong with what you are doing
just me personally I feel that they are finished
so I would restrict the water so the plant starts the drying process already
as the roots dry all the moisture will be sucked out of the plant and that forces it to speed up the ripening process a bit
then when you chop and hang
they are already in the drying process

Is running plain water in RDWC going to catalyze synescence or is that an internal ticker? You can't really just remove all nutes from soil like you can RDWC right?
True organic doesn't work that way. It's all about Bactria and fungi living in your soil as well as other micro organisms and there so many mycrohhizea and they feed the plants soil the soil as well as starting with a good amendment for your first bacth. Remember you are going to be reusing the soil over again

I like his version of drying at the end.
For me I withhold the water about 1 week before planned harvest date.

Like @wisher said it helps with the drying after chop.

Actually great segue into another question I had. What should I do with the soil from the five males/herms I chopped? Roots and everything still up in thurrr.
