ya I learned that lesson the hard way as well. The essential oils in the capsaicin dont wash off with water well. I do believe Momma got the brunt as it was her nether regions that got the oil from my mischevious hands. Had that old hen a hoppin!!!!! Boy was she one HOT Momma.. lmaoOle Redskin used to grow some bodacious peppers he called Black Hungarian. Just the juice from one of those bastards would lite you up like drinking napalm. Cooked in shit, they gave stuff a great flavor. He always wore rubber gloves when he cut 'em up after making the mistake of wiping his eye after doing his peppers, after he'd washed his hands twice.
